Someone who says, "You Can't..."

When someone tells you that "You can't..." it is usually because they can't or they are afraid that you will!

Often those around us present the highest obstacles to our own success. If your success is going to impact the lives of those around you (and it likely will), you will start to learn who wants you to succeed and who is afraid of that change.

You may find that people you thought were supportive, are not. You may find that people who you thought wanted you to break through your current situation, do not.

Those are the times you need to recognize you are at a crossroads in your relationship with that person. It doesn't mean your relationship/friendship is over, but it will change from that moment on.

Surround yourself with, to the best of your ability, people who want you to succeed and who are happy with your positive changes.

Totally agree with what you say Warren.

It's good to leave our comfort zone and make new friends who share the same goal and are happy with positive changes.

I realized that every time I share with a particular friend about business or online-marketing, he will give me 101 reasons why it won't work and advise me to stay away from it. He's my childhood friend and I don't want to lose a dear friend just because of "business" arguments. So every time I see him now, I'll skip the "business" talks and go straight to topics like: Soccer, Entertainments, Girls, Cars etc (as long as it's not business or online-marketing related).

My advise is be aware of friends (or family members) who will pull you down. Instead of starting a topic which will most probably lead to a collision (my case: business and online marketing with this particular dear friend of mine), start a topic which you two have in common.

    Jeremiah
