change your past to change your future
We tend to have the perception that time happens in a line ..event a leads to event b .. then to event c ..
this is not entirely the case .. Our future unfolds based on our expectations and beliefs .. which are based off of what happened to us in the past.. and many time based of second third and fourth hand information about what happened to others in the past ..
Your future is built off your reaction and your response to what you perceive to be happening in this moment . but those habitual reactions or chosen responses to what is happening now is built on your perceptions of what happened to you in the past ..or the stories of what happened to others .
many times we just end up recreating event a over and over and live more of an a-1 ,a -2 a -3 ... life instead of an a to b to c .
If you you have a habit of reacting in a certain way when someone cuts you off .. maybe because you have always reacted like that.. or your parents responded like that .. and it stick in your mind for any period of time.. look at why you react that way .. also picture how often you do it .. then next time some one cut you off.. and you catch yourself in your habitual reaction to it .. make a mental choice in that moment to respond better and let it go and think about something else.
If you are trying to lose weight ..but you find yourself having to stop for fst food .. respond by ordering just a sandwich or a burger .. instead of the value meal with the largest soda and fries ..
or better yet if you want to eat better.. just purge the cheap packaged crap from your life and if it is fattening .. but the most expensive tasties fattening food you can and enjoy every bit of it ..
