So I'm sure there are people out there that feel this way too, please feel free to give suggestions on how you cope with this.

I am a huge self-development junkie and I always want to make myself better. This habit stayed after a major issue in my life was finally resolved for the first time after taking massive action & reading non-stop on psychology and how to live your life optimally. Influences like Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Igor Ledochowski, etc. were a big part of my recovery.

BUT I always feel the need to read quicker, absorb faster/more in a shorter period of time. In short, I felt like there wasn't enough time to CRAM all these information into my head! There were tons of great CD courses/ DVD courses, time is so limited, how do you choose which ones are worth your time?

I focus on the actual person that is the author of these product. Find at least three to five people to sample their products devote yourself to about 1-2 of those people that are benefiting you and your business.

Yes, I know the feeling. I focus on a couple of my favorite authors and listen to their programs or read them when ever I think I am slipping off
my path. Tony Robbins definitely on that list.

Currently I am listening to subliminal success audios on the computer while I work.

I have read a lot of books, listened to a lot of audio tapes, watched a lot of dvd's of these amazing individuals listed above. In the end they are all saying the exact same thing. Trying to reiterate the same message when it comes to self help, and realizing your true potential.

In the end for me, it is nice to hear their voices, and the motivational things they say. But I already took the first step, so I know I can take the second, and third, then begin to run and never look back.

I used to have a giant folder of all of their material, that I thought I wouldn't improve or succeed if I didn't go through each product of each great person. Until I realized that it does not matter, it's up to me in the end. No need to cram, but to understand and take action, creating good habits in the process.

Even though I've been successful online and still continue to improve, I always want more. But that's common.

We, as a society, want more, better, and more luxurious things.

    I REALLY suggest watching this:

    And another tip.

Just take a step back, stop thinking, and get off the computer. I don't want to be the person who makes you go back to the way you were (I never want to go back to where I was) but one thing I discovered was to stop watching all that crap and do what works for you.

Yes, there's a lot of good stuff out there.

But what I did was I began to just rewatch the stuff that actually helped, rather than finding new stuff.

I've watched the show LOST all the way through, more than 6 times now. I've seen Jason Frieds speech on sharing more than 20 times now. And I have read REWORK 3 times already (and I hate reading books lol).

Be simple. Stop looking for the next big thing to help you.

Although, I think maybe I didn't come across clearly enough.

I have completely made peace and gotten over past issues that have bothered me and is no longer a problem at all. Right now I'm happy and living life to the fullest, but I just wanted to know if there was a way to absorb more information.

There is just so many things in this world that I want to learn but have so little time. It's not a case where I'm looking for the next best thing that can help my life, infact it's far from that. I guess it's just a hunger that's insatiable

Maybe this won't hit home with anyone but I have a book called "Daily Affirmations, For Adult Children of Alcoholics" by Rokelle Lerner. A good friend gave me a copy when I was going through a rough time. Although I don't have alcoholic parents, reading each affirmation daily, more than once, really helped my mindset. I still pick that book up today and view the daily reading if I am having troubles focusing and pushing forward because the day isn't going so well. As mentioned, these affirmations are NOT just for children of alcoholics. I have found them very inspirational, perhaps not as motivational for business purposes, but making one feel better about themselves can go a long way.

Ah, yes you did come across pretty clear to me (I think) I just wanted to help anyone and everyone that was experiencing the same problems as you were.

I have ADHD, an extremely high metabolism, and I sometimes suffer from depression.

But I try to keep myself entertained and focus on what works and what I enjoy to get further

        And to your last note.

The hunger for intelligence is awesome. Just try to use it to your advantage and learn the things that will help you further yourself and make you happy

Tell me about it. is there any other career where anyone feels it as much as we internet marketers feel it. sometimes i want to scream in frustration. i got to admit i have the shiny object syndrome too. or whatever it is they call it. just my input but what i did last month and doing well at following up on it is this:

    1. list out all the sub niches i am passionately interested in
    2. follow via list and social media those who are known as well known warriors in those sub niches
    3. read up on that sub niche as much as possible (in my free time when i am not working or sleeping)
    4. put into action. take action. just do it.

Now i filter everything else. I will succeed and i know it.

Sometimes I can have an "information overload" like I call it... You have to shut your mind for a few seconds so your thoughts can breathe.

They say you need to rewatch or review a stuff 16 times before you could actually grasp what's inside. Focus one thing at a time. Don't shift or jump to any stuff if you haven't really got the lesson yet. That way you could chew every knowledge in a book or audio or video coaching/tutorials.

Just don't get overwhelmed with too much awesome stuffs and knowledge.
