Making It Successful... Are You ready For 2013?

I've made preparations for the last 3 years that will come together during 2013.

I've studied harder than ever. I've practiced my craft. I wrote a book and started another. I learned public speaking. I made about a hundred mistakes and learned from them all. I'm ready to start cashing in! I started a company and have created an awesome network of great people. It seems to be my time.

I think that has to be one of the most important steps, especially when your trying to succeed. I too have had my fair share of fails, but I still remain determined to achieve my goal.

Product creation week after week is one hell of a task. I would say it takes me around a month to plan throughly and provide deserving content. Some of these people who outsource product creations in 48 hours is insane and I can't see how it would benefit the person your providing too.

Only you know your niche and what they want. If you have good relationships with your list, then the info coming form yourself is so much more valuable. I hope everything works out well for you.

Great thread because I have been wanting to talk about 2013 for a little while now...

2012 was such a weird year for me... so much happened and my life has completely changed! I really can't believe it but it's been almost a year now I've been on the forum interacting and seeing what other people are working on

As for 2013, I have massive plans and goals that I know I'm going to achieve. Goal setting is so important so this thread also put some added urgency to refine my goals for 2013.

Positive Thinking will go a long way for sure. I have had my fair share of ups and downs and I too am very thankful for what's been provided here as well as outside of the IM World.

My girlfriend has been the biggest motivation for me, after struggling 10 months without a job, trying to make it successful with my Personal Training (failed), trying to make it successful building reputation and selling my "Revealing The Importance of REAL Nutrition" ebook (failed), getting involved with PTC (failed), spending months building an eCommerce store, ranking high then flew off googles wall since the EMD update (few sales, but failed)...

Hard times but I am still pushing forward and I have something that will be consistant and very big soon, I just hope my time really pays off because I am heading off to China next year, so I will not allow myself to fail!

I hope 2012 was weird in a very good way for you. I pulled the plug on a market not long ago and also pulled the plug on something else at the beginning of the year what I was hoping to be big.

Those words you used... "Goal Setting" that's going to be a drive for me and hopefully my readers. I might even put together a great info product for you guys about this but it won't be any time soon as I am currently testing out the water with my Success website and have plans in the future which will hopefully make 2013 the biggest and most successful year for me to date!

I have new and bigger goals for 2013! Last year, I was just beginning to get the hang of IM and entreprenuership, by the end of 2013 I want my financial freedom!

I would say that my biggest goal for next year HAS to be working on building a responsive and respectful list. Ideally I think I would be comfortable with 10,000 people but a lot of work is needed, but hopefully with the right connections and work I put out, I can achieve that!

My life has changed dramatically some 6 months ago when I accidentally met online a person that afterwards I realized was a big and successful online entrepreneur. I couldn't believe how lucky I was he approached me!! He gave me an offer and I decided to enter his mentoring program. A whole new world opened to me! It was the best thing I did in my life! Before, I was lost for many years in searching for "that" crucial information or "fix" on how to make money online, having profitable online business and succeeding online. I didn't know anything about setting goals, dividing work into several smaller steps, list building, traffic and many other things needed for efficient internet marketing. Now, things has changed unbelievably! With my coach passing his knowledge and first hand experience onto me, I exactly know what I need to do, what steps to do in order to accomplish my goals. My strategy is all set and I'm already working on it. Vision of my business in the future is so clear, bright and vivid because I know it is achievable and could be done. I saw others have done it, I know I can do it too!

Like many others, I am approaching 2013 with great enthusiasm and excitement! After spending the last few years learning all about Internet Marketing and getting experience with a variety of marketing programs and methods, I recently made a personal commitment to focus on one marketing plan in particular and give it my full attention. Over the past couple of months I have been laying the foundation for success with this program and I am beginning to see results already. Going to be an awesome year!

Like you Steve, I'm working on a big project...well, two big projects actually, which are a huge motivation for next year. 2012 has been a really strange year, in fact probably the worst year of my life and yet I fully expect 2013 will be my best year.

The last couple of months and what's left of December are all about getting my projects in place so when we hit 1st Jan I will simply continue to charge full-steam ahead towards achieving my goals, which include:

1) Creative income streams totalling $7000/month by Dec '13.
2) Improving my fitness and diet - losing 1-1.5 stone by May '13 (I'm 6'1" and 13.5 at the moment).
3) Going traveling after Christmas '13, spending my first New Year in a foreign country and running my business from abroad.
4) Launch 1-2 info products + at least 1 book on Kindle.

All these goals feel very achievable based on what I've already got going. The hardest part will be getting enough people signed up to recurring monthly payments.

Great to see what you guys have planned

Don't make any news years resolutions you can stick to. Don't make them too big and extravagant and be realistic. I am hoping to carry on the way I am, whilst developing my sites and hopefully launching a new one once my other sites are stable after updates.

I am just happy 2012 is ending! Very weird year for me, but it was amazing and enlightening none the less.

I have learned a lot, and 2013 is the year that I do not waste time, that I check more things off my list. That I am going to grow from a 3 person company to at least a 10 person company, bursting at the seams.

I must say that is is getting exhausting trying to overcome their changes. So much time and money is wasted on this battle I have decided not to focus my efforts on SEO for the time being and work on building a list that really want to make it successful and take it from there.

i believe that every day is a new day where you can change things and start fresh so new year is just psychological important.
i don't make things depend on the years, i usually plan weeks, months and long-term goals.
i have daily to-do lists and when i got them done - even if it´s a day later - i know it´s one step closer to what i want to accomplish :-)

For me, 2013 is going to be about simplifying life and focusing on work and life activities that are fulfilling and closer to my goals. My intention is to earn an extra $30,000 per month in 2012 and help at least five others do the same. 2012 taught me that focus is the best medicine and, although there may be (what appears to be) better opportunities to the left and to the right, the path that I am is extraordinary.

to be honest right now i am not making much money online but i set a goal that by Dec 31st 2015 I want to be making at least 2000 per month online which is more than my current job offline at the moment....

do you all think that is doable??? I am trying to do it via blogging and if anyone thinks they can assist me in anyway to make it a success in 2013 then that will be really helpful...

the most i make is 10 dollar per month with adsense which isnt much and that is a rare thing....

Beginning about September of last year, I started looking at my business practices and what made me money. I started slowly chipping away at the stuff that cost me more than it has made me. Now that it's 2013, I'm focused solely on the most profitable business options that will help me become 10x more successful than I was last year. I had a decent year in 2012 - probably better than a lot of people here - but no where near where I need to be. By focusing on a few core strategies, I know that my 2013 will be hugely successful.

That's awesome and not something many people often do or should I say have the time to do but I am sure it will all pay off. I have given up with jobs in the UK and I am planning to head out and move to China, things are also getting very frustrating for me, I just hope that 2013 will BE THE YEAR for me.
