Be Thankful and Take Advantage of The Opportunity!

This past week justified so many things for MYSELF. I don't even know where to begin. Let's just say life isn't fair. There are WAY more problems than for me to b*@# about gas prices, or whatever. I've taken my "living"/lifestyle in the United States for granted. I have every resource to get where I want to be in life. It's unfortunate for those that can't go to school, have no money, have no library, have no transportation, no internet.

It hit me how a lot of us complain that internet marketing doesn't work. Google algorithm this, Google algorithm that. Not making any sales, etc. etc. When seriously, there's more to it. We should be thankful the fact that we're even given this opportunity. There are PEOPLE, tons of them who don't even have access to the internet. Who can't even be an entrepreneur, or a business owner due to their situation. People who are trying to survive without making money. People who would love to get into this kind of opportunity but they just can't due to their living conditions.

I don't know if you've seen my past posts, but long story short. I found out I have a long lost sister who is originally from the Philippines. She's an OFW, aka Overseas Filipino Worker in Amman, Jordan. She was supposed to stay for ONLY two years, but her agency won't give her passport back. And now they're going to send her to jail if she doesn't some how magically pay $10,000. After that, she gets bought out by an owner/servant where she serves another two years in Jordan....It gets me even more sad that the Philippine embassy won't help her. Learning all this was a BIG eye opener for myself. I've been trying to do whatever I can to help her out, and I still am. I've been contacting all sorts of organizations, lawyers, and so forth.

Anyways, this whole experience made me realize that I've taken every thing over the past 25 years for GRANTED. But nevertheless, the beauty of it all is that I LEARN from it. Some, if not A LOT of people, will never admit it and make that change. I'm just thankful that I can realize this and MAKE those changes. It's never too late. But like that saying "Take your time, BUT HURRY UP."

Take advantage of the resources, and the opportunity that's given to you folks. Remember, if things aren't going well with you in internet marketing just be thankful because it could be worse.

Good luck to you with your sister. It's always good to remind ourselves to keep things in perspective and not take what we have for granted.

Indeed. Thank you. I'll need some kind of miracle. But I'll take the quote from Adidas : Impossible is Nothing.

I really cannot stand the people who are embarassed to be American, because of so and so. They do not understand that for many immigrants, including myself and my family, the streets are literally paved with gold. That there is so much opportunity, and so many resources. There are people who have the luxury to say no to a getting a job and earning money.

It reminds me of a story of a poor child in India, who got an Algebra textbook secondhand from one of those book charities. He began to teach himself, it did take time, but he did it. He ended up living the good life in the USA working as an engineer. It took time, but he was persistent. I know the majority of westerners would not take to the opportunity as he did.

I hope from the bottom of my heart that your sister is helped. I have seen a campaign on Change.org similar to your situation. Thankfully it was resolved. Also letter writing is very effective.

It's a human nature to complain, nothing bad in it.

Good luck, mate! I hope it works out and you will be able to give your sister a hug and provide for her.

Of course it's human nature. But I think people should take things into perspective in what they are complaining about.

        Thanks a lot.

Just an update: I asked the agent if my sister were to be sent to jail, what happens then? They told me that she could die .
