What is your favorite inspirational music?

I have always felt music to have a powerful impact on my life. It is very helpful in changing my mood and my state. Also certain music will get into your subconscious mind very quickly and you catch yourself singing songs, sometimes very annoying ones.

Lately I have been looking for good songs that will help me to have a success mindset. While watching the movie "The Compass" again, I noticed the music they used in it. It seemed very uplifting.

The artist's name is Paul Hoffman. On this page (Success Songs) you can listen to all his songs for free. They are very powerful and inspiring. The last song on the page is one of the best and very appropriate for this forum as it is called "I am a Warrior".

What music and songs do you listen to to keep going and be successful?

I've noticed that to get the day going quickly and with a high note, I really like to use 80-90's easy rock music. Huey Lewis & The News, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, etc. work very well. I use different music for many different reasons, but I think the most useful has been getting into a good state first thing in the morning.

I like Dub/ Roots reggae. It helps me to focus.
Sometimes a listen to a classic music. It is relaxing, but sometimes...also sometimes it annoys me
Chillin' music while i am working - Cafe Del Mar and similar compilations..jazzy/house, reggae, trip hop

that would be while i am working and trying to cfocus. When I am reading something and learning..maybe it sounds a little bit weird, but I found punk rock and metal quite a relaxing Tool, Korn, Ramones, Public Image LTD, Rage Against the Nachine, System of a Down....

I used to listen to Benedictine Chant/Gregorian Chant when doing research. Great background music. Low-impact and low-level enough to do some work in the foreground.

  • When I focus on working on stuffs, I listen to Yiruma's piano compositions. And when I wish to get motivated when in the brink of letting go, I listen to Tracy Edmon's "Never Give Up", Simple Plan's "Welcome to My Life", and James Blunt's "Bad Day".
