A Cool Tip To Make You 110% Productive When Working..

I find when working its really good to have a playlist of music whilst playing. Personally I listen to electronic and instrumental music as it allows you to concentrate.

At the start of every week, I spend around 30 minutes making a new music playlist consisting of around 20 songs on youtube. I then play this music with headphones in whilst working. When the music is being played, I'm very productive and I work really well.

If you are finding it hard to make a music playlist.. here is an idea, say if you like meditation music, you could type in on youtube "meditation music mix" this normally will bring up a ready made playlist which lasts around an hour full of music, this works with most types of music.

A couple of other tips to be productive -
1 - Don't have time wasting sites like twitter and facebook in your bookmarks where they can easy be accessed.
2 - If your using gMail, you can install the gmail plugin so you get a notification when you get new mail, this saves you checking your emails all the time.

It's good that it works for you.. I've tried all kinds of music personally but doesnt seem to work for me. I work best when its completely silent esp at 3-4am in the morning.

I completely agree with turning off all other distractions though. Facebook and emails are productivity-killers!

    Good tip..

I personally listen to meditation music + some affirmations (compilation that i did) while working..

A good productivity tip is also to remove all distractions while working..(turn off the internet, work in a place with no distractions)

    Cheers,

I listen to Drone Zone on WinAmp which is mostly meditational based.

Working for myself allows me to work very organically - according to my natural rhythms. I know that I produce the best work very early in the morning and later in the evening juuuust before my brain starts shutting down. So those are the only times I bother working, and it doesn't even feel like work. The rest of the time, I do creative things, physical things, meditation... but nothing that requires focus or concentration.

When I'm in my zone, nothing distracts me and nothing bothers me. If you learn to work with your natural rhythms and work when you feel like working, run when you feel like running, sleep when you feel like sleeping, you get amazing amounts of stuff done!

And, if I'm in work mode and I'm still not 100% "there" I set myself a deadline and remind myself that if I don't meet it, I don't get paid. Works every time!

I also like it completely quiet when trying to get something done. Anything else is just distracting.
