Two Ways to Use Meditataion to Manifest Abundance - Part 1

We're all here (on this forum, in this biz) because we want more of something, right? Call it money, call it wealth, call it financial security or whatever. Sometimes it's almost effortless, sometimes frustratingly difficult to manifest the good stuff.

Have you tried meditation as a way to help manifest what you want?


I want to introduce two very different ways of manifesting using meditation. The first, I'll call the Warrior Way, and that's the topic of today's post. The second way is the Monk Way which I'll introduce in a few days. Most of the time, I talk about these approaches strictly in terms of dealing with fear; but since fear is such a huge block to success, it seemed like a good thread for discussion.

The Warrior Way

The warrior is, (on the outside anyway) very confident. The Warrior has a clear vision of a goal and has taken a detailed inventory of his (or her) strengths, weaknesses, attributes, limitations, resources, possible opportunities, etc. The Warrior has created a complete battle plan, and the battle is scripted out before the warrior takes action.

Elite athletes are the perfect example of the Warrior type - spending a lot of time perfecting their actions in their minds before competition, mentally playing out possible scenarios and intensively visualizing every nuance of their performance, including victory.

The Warrior's game plan for manifesting money might go like this:

  • Identify the objective
  • Identify the possible ways to achieve the objective
  • Identify pros, cons, variables, resources, skills, knowledge, etc.
  • Be bold in the face of fear and take action
  • Be persistent and consistent. Keep moving in the face of fear. Just keep going.
  • Success

The Warrior's "secret weapon" is mastery of motivational self-talk. A Warrior knows exactly what the big picture is, and projects strength, confidence and a knowing that the objective will be achieved, no matter what frightening scenarios are racing around within.

The Warrior gains
courage by taking action and finds comfort in the daily actions that bring about success.

The Warrior spends a lot of time in meditation visualizing achievement, repeating affirmations and working on improving him/herself. Fear is turned into excitement through a choice to become excited about the unknown instead of paralyzed by it. The Warrior trusts that every step of the way is preparing the way for the next step.

The Warrior is not afraid of failure. The lessons from failing are the ones that stick the best and so in the Warrior's mind, failures are victories. Because the Warrior is quick to pick up on what doesn't work, he/she will never make the same mistake twice.

How to become more like a Warrior:

Meditate on the big picture and break it down into manageable components:

  • What you can learn (skills and knowledge)
  • What you can act on
  • How you will proceed in any situation you can imagine;

You get to write the script. Visualize and FEEL the ideal outcome, as well as how you anticipate facing and negotiating the unknown. As a Warrior, you know that practice makes perfect. You take your meditation seriously as a way to perfect yourself; your approach; your mindset.

You might see aspects of yourself that are Warrior-like. But none of us are completely one way or the other way. To your own unique degree, we are both Warriors... and Monks, as you'll see next time.

If you find you're lacking Warrior traits, you'll make a big impact on your success by adopting the Warrior attitude.
