Heard An Amazing Quote Today

Heard this great quote earlier today and it's sooooooo true. Not sure who the quote originated from but here it is:

"Everybody wants to shine like a diamond but very few want to get cut"

For those that don't know about diamonds, they are worthless until they have been cut.

Everything you've been through in your life has brought you to where you are today. Use your "cuts" or hard times as motivation and to help give you the will to succeed.

    Awsome. I couldn't help but reply. Change the roots to change the fruits. The set of our sail determines our outcome or where we are going.

    It's amazing. As soon as you set goals all the challenges come out. The challenges are there to help us reach our goal plus make us a better person.

    Some of us are afraid to get cut and that's the reason why they don't shine like diamonds. If you want to shine like a diamond then don't be afraid to get cut.

    Another thing to note is that no one can tell the difference between a diamond in the rough and a lump of coal. They both look like dirt or simple rock. A diamond and a lump of coal are both made up of the same base elements (just like we are.)

    It is only after pressure is applied that the differences emerge. If you want to be a diamond, if you want to achieve your dreams, you must also want to experience the pressure that will reinvent you as a diamond. It is only through the pressure that a diamond is formed.
