Taking a break helps you reach success!

What's going down Warriors!

If you are serious about becoming successful, then it's highly likely that you are working way too hard my friend. Maybe you're not, but from my encounters with other IM'ers, you probably are.

I mean sure, time is golden and you need to make the most of it! That's all very well, but breaks are a crucial part in your success! Your mind is working super hard all day long, and taking half an hour to watch TV doesn't help!

At this point you're like what? I thought this thread was about taking a break? Yep it is, but not the chill out and watch TV break!

I am talking about the mental breaks, the kind of breaks that allow your mind to switch off to the outside world! Things like meditation, mind-dumps, sitting in silence, taking a birds-eye perspective on your life.

Those are all things that can have a big impact on your success, meditation has been proven to help reduce stress and clear the mind! Mind-dumps help clear the mind and can actually make you aware of things you weren't concious of.

I get it that when people think of meditation, they think of it being boring, pointless and even stupid. I did, but I don't anymore! Since practising meditation, I feel human!

That's right human, I am in control of time and my actions. I no longer feel like I am on auto-pilot, you know that feeling right? Where you do things without realising them, where you don't feel as if you were controlling your speech or actions after having an encounter with some one?

Meditation got rid of that for me, and now I feel awesome! My perspective has gained clarity, my choices and decisions are smarter, I think before doing and I am able to live in the moment!

Life has become awesome, I am already seeing more results in my success than I have ever done before. Sure it's still not great but it's getting there! Since realising the benefits and power of meditation, I have taken control of my life.

I now enjoy the silence, when I get up early in the morning, I sit in silence taking a bird's eye perspective on my life. It helps things become clear, I am able to judge myself and continuously improve on the little things that I dislike.

It's breaks like that I feel can truly be of benefit to you! I mean sure, I still enjoy watching TV from time to time but I find that TV can often brainwash you. It puts you back into the autopilot mode, however a good balance from natural breaks and relaxing breaks is fine!

I dare you fellow warriors, to practise the art of meditation for a while. Give it your 100%, don't quit at the first site of difficulty! I guarantee, you will see the results!

Be sure to thank this post to let me know you liked it Just kidding, but in all seriousness, I hope this has helped you!

Have a great day!

I think that taking breaks helps me to stay balanced psychologically, so that way by taking breaks from working I am able to be more productive when I am working. Working non-stop can be detrimental to just about anyone in multiple ways, it seems.

Thanks for the beautiful words Joe!

Meditation does wonders....I first realized it three years ago when I was dealing with postnatal depression. I also suffered from the guilt of not working for over a year..things started accumulating and I often felt overwhelmed

Then a day, on my husband's insisting I first tried meditating. It did not last for more than 5 minutes but the feeling was wonderful..I tried the very day once more and ever since I've been doing it. I think it repairs our soul and gives us courage and energy to keep going :-)

I couldn't agree more. sometimes as network marketers, we tend to work very long days trying to get our systems in place. It is very important to take "fun" breaks. Go for a walk, take in a movie with the family. I think it refreshes our already creative nature.

I recently tried meditation and found it to be very calming, not just while in a meditative state, but often lasting throughout the day. Deepak Chopra is offering a free 21 day meditation challenge. Here is the link to join ~ The Chopra Center 21-Day Meditation Challenge

I am not an affiliate nor do I make any commissions in any form from this link. I just truly believe that everyone needs to give it a try.
