Less is better.

You very well might be investing way too much time into a venture that could literally take you 1/10 of that time.

Many say that less is more or more is better.

Point is.. you can go into nearly every scenario and put less effort into it if you stay focused and stop jumping all over the place.

Note: If you say that "less money" is not better.. you're also wasting your time. Stop focusing so much on the danged money.. that's what most marketers do as a mistake in the beginning.

    Nice one Justin.

With the right mindset less is definitely more. I'm currently in the process of cleaning everything I've ever bought and downloaded and now that I have a clearer goal it does appear I don't need to work my a** off to even get there.

That's what I did the second year I got into this journey

Cleaned everything out and started fresh and a month later I had a $15,000 week

      Definitely changed my perception.

I'd say enough is better. The point of starting a business is to make money, otherwise it's pointless. It's just a matter of when and how you call the shots. Spend time if necessary but always aim to reduce it sometime in the future- not unless it is imperative and/or you love what you do.

That's one way of doing it. Stop chasing those shiny stuff and organize your system.

Money is what people think will make them happy, but money is just the vehicle. True happiness is peace, love, balance. Set that as your goal, and the money will come naturally, if it is needed.

There is end or limitation to what you desire. Most of us cannot control our desires hence it is always a good thing to stay happy with what you have. Live in the present!

That's so true, Justin. Alex Jeffreys has a saying: "Don't chase money, let money chase you."

If we're so focused on chasing money then we're likely to be headed for disappointment. But, although we of course want to make money, if we focus on providing value and making a difference in people's lives, then we're much more likely to have the success that we desire and we will likely feel much happier about doing it too

Money doesn't chase. It's just paper. You can't let an inanimate object chase you.

I get all of these "positive thinking" stuff, and I understand why this thread is in the Mind Warriors forum.

But if you think money's going to come to you, you're fooling yourself.

I'm confused about if you are agreeing with this or not.

The only part I specifically talk about money itself is when I express that less money isn't a terrible thing.

Of course nothings going to just come to you, but the point is you can do a lot less work and get a much higher return if you do it right.

"Less money" for some people mean less headaches with the IRS or the ATO! So, in some cases "Less money = More peace of mind" is certainly in-keeping with the "Less is more" Taoist adage.

Caveat: "More money = less of OTHER headaches" also holds true.

    Good post, Justin!

Not applicable to guys with the Talent + More Money , if you have the talent and you have less money then it will take you long enough to reach your target, whereas if you have the talent and the money then it will be easier way around.

In my opinion, it is all about experience. Take a lecturer and a student for example. A student has to apply him self thoroughly and focus on what he is doing while a lecturer does the same job in a blink of an eye without spending countless hours of misery. So less for a lecturer is more for a student!

I can see where you're coming from but look at it this way.

A lot of people think they if they put a crap load of action into things, they'll be successful. The problem there is those same people are doing the WRONG things and investing heavy amounts of time into something that doesn't achieve them much.

When instead they could learn or gain knowledge from someone else more knowledgeable in the skill and cut down their time investment by 500%.

Not to say everyone that teaches is knowledgeable but those that invest high amounts of time into things that aren't gaining them anything (or a sight of anything) are mostly wasting their time.

How about when it comes to traffic building, instead of investing 25 hours into 1 single method, test out 5 hours with 5 different methods and see which one gains you the most results at the end of the month.

Many times you'll notice a large quantity of that traffic is only coming from one of your methods. So now invest time into that traffic method and even just 10 hours of your time (15 hours less) ends up gaining you much more traffic.

      Just a thought

Less is more. You must first think of what you're getting into so that it wont have a big impact on you if it gets ugly.

I think "less is more" implies to internet marketing that people should learn the value of quality overpowers quantity. Find an effective strategy for you and focus there than applying different approaches. Keeping your tools organized will help you determine what you really need and what are not really useful and will just take you time. We should also learn how to manage our time.We shouldn't try to accomplish a lot of things but focus on getting things done one at a time.
