You do NOT need to be sophisticated ...

I'd like to share a quick thought with you ...

Some time ago, I was a big fan of motivational books. Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightingale, Tony Robbins ... anyone with the capacity to ignite a fire in my soul was my favorite.

Until when day when I've discovered that reading self-help authors was not "cool". So I've started to read philosophy and serious stuff.

And guess what?

My motivation went down.
My productivity went down.
My personal relationships went down.

Everything went down.

Until another day when I've realized one important thing. How you develop yourself is your own choice. You don't need to be sophisticated. You don't need to use tools that other people consider they are good.

For example, if you want to take up fitness, your routine may as simple as running each day. You don't need a complicated set of intervals. And if you want to learn the success mindset, you can read whatever pleases and helps you.

You see ...

What you read and experience determines your mindset. Your mindset determines your behaviors. Your behaviors determines your habits. Your habits determines your results. Your results determines your destiny.

So be careful who you bring around you and how. It does not matter if it's white or black or blue or green. It matters only if it helps you.

You don't need to be a sophisticated person to achieve success. You need to be:
a) Hard working.
b) Smart enough to get better every day.
c) Happy enough to know for what you are doing everything.

That's all. So just study what makes you happy. And remember - the secret to success is HARD WORK. Studying motivational materials will improve your effectiveness, but you still must take care of the efficiency.

    I loved that list.

Especially item C. That's a 'little detail' that tends to get forgotten from time to time.
