What is holding you back revealed... you will be surprised

Hello warrior,

Sometime it just feels like you try everything according to what the big gurus tell you, or even you may study them carefully and build out a blueprint of how they sell so easily. You have it perfectly analyzed from beginning to end, or so you think.

All the while, in the back of your mind, you've been hearing a very trite saying, something about.... taking action...

One day you decide to do it, you build yourself up and muster enough motivation and energy and you decide to put your money where your mouth is. All that reading you've done, all that learning, all that common sense that you kept complaining about, so you pull the trigger and take action!

For some this will be a liberating moment to see the dollars magically float into your paypal account, congratulations the work has paid off. For others the bitter taste of defeat is all they can feel.

I've been there before, it is not fun, well at least not when it first hits you, its when you can pick yourself up and LEARN something out of your experience.

Learning from your failures seems to be very cliche but a vast majority of people never do learn anything from it, they simply quit, they throw in the towel, mixed feelings of frustration and anger take over. You start thinking to yourself, is it all a scam? Pretty soon you start to think out loud getting very passionate about Internet Marketing being a scam whenever the subject comes up.

You dismiss it as something that doesn't work.

But did you ever stop to analyze your results?

If so what did you come up with??

I can hear you already playing the blaming game.

Well I've got news for you, it may be hard to swallow, but the truth will set you free.

The only person holding you back from your own success is YOU.

If you tried to build a list and got 1000 subscribers fast, yet you only managed to make one measly sale what do you think is wrong with your system?

YOU

You built it didn't you?
You operate it don't you?
You wrote the follow ups didn't you?

So who is to blame???

YOU!

So fire the incompetent who could not get you the sales, who couldn't build the system, who failed and lost you money.

Fire yourself!

Fire yourself and hire the most qualified person you can find to do the job.

Now if your email open rate was low or your list is unresponsive who should you hire??

Hmmmm lets see, how about a copywriter that can guarantee results or that has a track record.

As you can see in this simple example if you replace yourself with somebody qualified, an expert in the field you virtually guarantee your success.

It makes no sense to hire a fire fighter to do the job of a doctor or surgeon. You need to hire qualified individuals for your business and you will be surprised to know, what was holding you back from achieving success, was trying to do the job of someone else. If you are a marketer you are the boss, act like it!

This is not a commercial, for any service, simply food for thought because I know sometimes we try to put on many hats to run a business and maybe save a little money, not realizing how much it actually costs(time, money and lost revenue) not to pay the professionals.

Sorry to make this such a long post, just wanted to share, comments are always welcomed.

Albert

Interesting, so if a person doesn't have a lot of money and is just beginning what would you suggest to them?

Analyze what is the most urgent thing that needs to get done, look at what your available resources are, make the best use of those.

Often people think that they have no money to do things, yet they spend money on unnecessary things.

If you are consistently broke its because there is something in your head that is holding you back, that continually sabotages your efforts.

In these particular cases, you will always be broke until you decide you want to change that.

Now on the other hand depending on your particular situation we can surele come up with a small time fix, but what I see happen all to often is that small time fix becomes the business owners bread and butter meaning that's what they want to implement always even if they now posses more money they still want to ride that fix until it breaks or is no longer effective.

If you think you have it all figured out you can leverage other peoples money, go out and look for JV partner or investors. They will let you know in a heartbeat if you are on to something or if you are just wasting your time.

thanx, very interesting. "YOU are your biggest asset or liability", somebody once said. While personal development makes you more valuable to the marketplace, sometimes outsourcing is best.
