Total "newbie" questions, need HELP!

Hi warriors, this is going to be a tough one for me since I do not like to admit that I do not know how to do certain things :confused:!!!

For starters, I have designed an invoice in Microsoft Publisher and I would like to be able to show it to you, to critique it, don't know how...

2. Since this is NOT a $ making question, is this the RIGHT place to post it?

3. I still can't get over the "chicken sexism" youtube video , but how can I show you my own youtube videos :confused:???

I don't want to over-load anyone so I'm cutting it short right here, any helpful responses would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much !

No, I forgot one, and probably the MOST important one. How do I prevent all my "stuff" from disappearing when my computer crashes ! Did sign up for a service but all they did was to charge my credit card, never even responded to my email, complaining...

Again, I don't think I'm the ONLY ONE not knowing any of this. ANY response is greatly appreciated, thank you.

    Hi Vikuna,

    I know the "I must not be the only one" feeling... Irritating.

    As far as your stuff disappearing: Are you talking about the need to "save" as you work on projects or back up your data on, say, a DVD-ROM?

    Re: Youtube. Do you know about the "embed" link next to your video? This will embed the video in any page or post that you wish.

    You might try posting a link to your MS publisher doc...

    No problem.

    Select your favorite program that writes data discs. My computer came with a free copy of Nero 6. The program will let you select the folders that you want to write (backup) to a blank cd. Then you burn it and save it.

    You can also write large amounts of data to a DVD is you have the correct drive.

    Also, there is online storage which usually entails a fee. Search for "web based data storage".

    Regarding the embedding of a video. Youtube and other user generated video sites will provide you with the html code that puts the video into any page or post. Just copy the code and paste it into an html document.

    I'm starting to sound like a shill for lynda<dot>com...but for 25 bucks you can have a month of video tutorials on just about any program you wish.
