Why Did The Prospect Say "NO!"
And What To Do About It

This is for all those people who silently wrestle with how to get started in this business opportunity. It's also for anyone who happens to have taken a few 'knocks' in the form of "No Thank You" from a local business owner or two.

I won't go into a big debate with anyone who disagrees but the true fact of the matter is that you will get some "No Thanks" responses. You might even get a lot depending on your selling skills.

It's a myth that you'll close every sale you attempt to make. But you can increase your probability ration and I hope this quick tip article will help you keep your feet on the ground.

Fact of the Matter

Most of the time when a local business prospect says "NO!" most people will accept and leave. Most of the time when a prospect tells you why they said "NO!", they're not telling the truth either

The biggest cause of sales rejection in the mind of the sales person is, "My price was too high." It's also the easiest excuse for a buyer to give in order to make you go away

Other than the price, there are a number of reasons hwy you lost the sale. Here are some of them in no particular order of priority:
  1. The business owner believed you weren't the best choice
    .
  2. The business owner had a previous experience they weren't happy with
    .
  3. The business owner has an already existing relationship with another person that supplies what you're offering (or they think they do...read: "I have a website guy!")
    .
  4. You haven't shown any differentiation between your Offline Marketing services and products and the other supplier's services and products. When this happens price is all that's left
    .
  5. You've failed to show the business owner how they're going to profit more as a direct result of owning your services or products. When there's no value, price is all that's left.
Not Getting THe Sales?
.
If you're not getting the sales you expect to get think of the reasons and come up with ways to get round, over, under of through them.
.
When you've done that, you should then start to think of how to handle the 5 Most Common Objections that local small business owners are most likely going to throw at you.
.
If you're already an active Offline Marketer, you might already know what some of these 5 objections are. How to get round them is another story altogether because "NO!" can be a hard result to turn around.
.
Finally, check your Mindset. A lot of people go in with the mindset that they're not 'experts' - That's so wrong. Who IS an expert? And ...who says who is an expert or not?
.
Don't be intimidated by YOU because the world is waiting to reward you for having the courage to take action!

If a person says NO, should just built your experience know why he said know, if you know what you are doing then prove him wrong. If he's stubborn then all you can do is look for the next person.

Also, keep in mind that not everyone is good at face to face sales or picking up the phone. That's why so many people try to make money online. They get to avoid the NO's in person! Not everyone will be successful offline, just like not everyone will be successful online.
