Hi

I am in the process of changing my limiting beliefs, but I have a desperate question.

This is the process, which I do every night (I am quite tired when doing it so hopefully goes straight into subconcious mind):

1. Write down any evidence from the day that supports my new belief
2. Reframe old false evidence for the old belief
3. Write down the payoffs for the old belief and then counter it

I find myself now sometimes using better self talk. eg When I say, don't this due to old belief, sometimes the new beliefs pops up and says no you should do thi. In the recent days I have started to believe the new belief. But the thing is I find some days I do, somedays I don't , why is this?! For example day on the 7th May night I did the reframing old false belief, and counter payoffs, and wrote 1 and a half pages of evidence for the new belief. Then the next day (the day of the 8th May I felt great!). Then on the 8th May night I did reframing old false belief, and counter payoffs, but only wrote 0.2 of a page of evidence because I was tired, but to compensate I looked through previous examples and visualised them with the new belief

So in conclusion, is it that I don't believe it today as much is because I didn't write as much evidence as before down? Do you have to write more evidence every day eg if do one A4 page of evidence one day, next day have to do at least one A4 or more, not less, so it proves to your subconcious mind you are making progress.

Thank you so so so much!!!!

before you go through the work of changing limiting beliefs ..

figure out weather they where your beliefs in the first place ..then see how the belief has served you ..many of "our" beliefs really are belifs that where handed to us or glued to us .

all beliefs are limiting in some way ..but many of the limits are not set right for us our the world we live in..

treat limiting beliefs that are not yours like speed limits on a high way when all police have the day off ..

ok sense i just got what you where saying in your post .. i believe you can back of the writing about a belief ..when you see the evidence that you are acting from the new belief and not the old belief ..

at that point you just keep a check to make sure you don't revert back to acting from the old belief..

my system of changing beliefs is a bit more intense ..on beliefs i really want to change ..there are a few beliefs that lock many other beliefs in place ..find them and change them and other beliefs become easier to change or just no longer apply

This whole thing is wrong. You want to start off with a belief and then look for things to support it? Why not just learn more so that the truth will become obvious?

Whether a belief is limiting or not, has nothing to do with whether it's true or not.

It's hard to discuss this without knowing what "limiting belief" you are talking about.

But if you absolutely want to guarantee that you don't learn anything....just start with a belief and then look for support.

This is the opposite of learning. Do some research and find out what the evidence supports...and then believe that.

And that's what you find is profitable to believe.

I know reality isn't big here sometimes, but it's served me well so far.

I follow 4 steps in my belief system:

      1) Decide on my definite purpose and have a clear intention to achieve it
      2) Create a clear, step by step, detailed strategy to achieve it
      3) Keep it simple, dont complicate with too much detail
      4) ACT

Any limiting beliefs you might have will just be ignored by the mind if you just concontrate on your pupose and intention.

      Just my two cents worth

    Changing a belief is simple..

Just thing and FEEL the pain of having the belief and the pleasure of changing the belief..

Note that you need to replace the belief with something else.

So if you are a procrastinator, you should think & feel all the pain of procrastinating then all the pleasure of taking action.

    Cheers,

If you want to eliminate your old belief, you can simply do so. We decide what to believe and what to dismiss. If you want to change your old beliefs, you just have to open your mind more in searching for evidences to support your new beliefs and counter the old ones.
