CHANGE AND EVERYTHING AROUND YOU WILL CHANGE

Focus on the development of your character because your gifts and talents will open doors for you but your character will keep them open. Develop integrity. Be a man or woman of your words. Be reliable. Be desplined. Be forgiving. Be tolerant. Be friendly. Be tactful. Be couteous. Be morally upright. You will make it to the top.

It is when we change that things around us will change. We must be renewed before we can experience new things. Trees shed leaves to sprout new ones. As we break negative and old habits and we cultivate new ones, we will begin to attaract people and opportunities that we never attracted before.

  • Hi acaforreal,

Nice thoughtful thread. Can't see how a person could go wrong with that advise.

There is no question in my mind that if a person sincerely pursued all of the personal characteristics you listed in your post change would be at hand immediately. The size of change may be small at first, but event the tiniest action taken toward these aspects of character move one upward and onward to higher, better, newer experiences.

    Thank you for the encouragement.

I agree 100%. I believe our character is the most important. However, I would approach this a little differently.

I would only focus on getting rid of all the defects in my character instead of adding anything positive to it.

Getting rid of instead of adding to...

I believe, if I have even one defect of character that I can not get rid of, that one negative thing might cancel out all the positive one day! However, if I get rid of all my defects, all that is left is good and positive by default.

The question is how to get rid of all the negative? It is the easiest and also the most difficult thing to do. All you have to do is to be completely honest with your self. The moment you are honest about all your defects and honestly face them, they vanish, disappear and never return.

That said, most people will never be able to do this.

    Right on the spot.

You will never become successful if you don't work on yourself first. All these money making techniques will not work if you don't change your beliefs & habits.

    Cheers,

    Gary

Art of Marketing, DJX71, Dennis Gaskill, Todd Collins, LastingLifeSuccess, Joy Ray, and Gary Ning Lo, I quite appreciate all your contributions.

Changing our mental attitude is inevitable. To be ambious for wealth and yet always expecting to be poor, to be always doubting your ability to get to what you long for is like trying to reach east by travelling west. There is no philosophy which will help a person to succeed when he is always doubting his ability to do so and thus attracting failure.
