The REAL Secret Of Achieving Success

The REAL secret of achieving success is giving value to people. And in order to do that, you have to go out, talk to people, finding out more about them and see what you can do to help them.

Ask every successful person and he or she will tell you the same thing.

It is NOT about making $ even though it seems to be a priority. It is about making use of whatever time you have left on this planet aka in this world to care and share with people that matters.

This is in contrary to 1 click riches, secret Google loophole or some trick tactic employed by many internet marketers that ripped people off and get them into thinking that internet marketing is a scam.

Sure I can be creative and be unique like Bill Gates, Mark Zickerberg and Steve Jobs but if NONE of what I do GIVES value to people as in helping them and solving their problems / fulfiling their needs and wants, people see NO reason to pay $.

And when they see no reason to pay $ or buy, I am not going to earn $ and fulfil whatever dreams I may have had.

The bible says in some chapter or verse I don't recall:

Those who exalted themselves will be humbled
And those who humbled themselves will be exalted.

This is also TRUE to business and intensively practised by many successful people regardless of what product or service they offers.

In order to get what we want, we have to help people get what THEY want FIRST.

Sure the technology as in laptops, notebooks, ipads, iphones, internet connection and even SMART TVs might have changed our lifestyle.

But the hardcore principles of communicating, connecting, appealing and caring about people REMAINS.

That is what it takes to give value to people.

And that is what it takes to achieve success that you and I both want badly.

Once I realize this, there is really nothing for me to figure out as how to make money and achieve success though it took me 20 years since I am an introvert tend to be obsessed with doing my own stuff.

Learn all these from Eben Pagan. Even though I could not afford most of his courses since they are $1997, I watched and downloaded all his Youtube, product prelaunch and actual launch videos.

  • amuro,

Nice well thought out post. I agree with the tried and true principle of helping others to get what they want in order to fulfill your own dreams. I have always liked this principle and try hard to implement it as often as I can.

It is important to personally get out there to find out what people want in the way of what is valuable to them. That part isn't always easy to do but can put you on the fast track to success.

I would just like to point out that if you are talking about marketing and business but how does the Bible get involved? I always try to be considerate of all and yes I do consider myself very spiritual.

I think more Warriors should quote the Bible and other spiritual texts too. There is a lot they can teach us.

      Here's my little contribution:

But if I am trying to be professional I try to keep it that way. In the marketing game we never want to alienate, we want to be inclusive to all if we can...we still can alienate in other ways but.that happens on its own sometimes but why increase the odds.

I had another marketer go into alot of rants from a political nature and my mind just does not mix everything together with business.

Just my personal thought on that.

you have to know who your customers are and who they are not ..and who you are sending your message to ..in todays world there are a huge chunk of people who have the profession of being offended ..

when it is fine to openly offend christians ..i really do not care to deal with people who will go all nutty over one bible verse .

we are here even if not to get rich to figure out how to make money ..providing a product and making a profit ..

then we have the audacity to believe we are where we are because of our own beliefs and that we can change them and have the power to change our lives ..

the difference on a forum like this is that it is best to avoid making a post mostly about religion where the discussion in that realm usually reverts to people with different views offending each other .

currently though i am pruning my own thinking and writing to avoid un needed opportunities to offend others . because my brand that i will be building has a message that will resonate with a certain group..and offend many others ..so i am gearing up for some intense level of criticism .

i have also had way to much experience with people on forums reading one line ..and becoming extremely dense and arguing with me over saying that one line even if there where three paragraphs after that line which explained and nullified it .

      it is truly annoying

If you don't give value or sell something to someone, you will not make money.

There is also the possibility that you sell a product but that product does not give a lot of value to your members.

I agree with what you say. However, there are plenty of people out there (especially in the IM niche) who deliver absolutely no value to their customers and still manage to be very 'successful'.

    So true..

Communication is all we do all day.. We need to perfect this skill..

It's as simple as you mentioned.. We need to give value to people and for this we must first ask! This is one of the major pitfalls of unsuccessful sellers..

    Cheers,
