Just discovered EFT today, from a thread here at the forum.

Watched a video about it on youtube and did a technique..worked wonders!
Now I'm really interested in deepen my knowledge into it a bit more.

Could you recommend any home-study courses or similar in EFT?

Or some really good books. Prefferably, I'd rather buy a home-study course in it though, or an audio version.

Cheers

There is a book called "The Tapping Solution". It also comes with a DVD. Make a google search for it or check it out on YouTube. There are loads of videos about EFT out there.

The great thing about EFT for me was that I didn't really need to read any books or courses to make it work. I just went through the basic process of it with an issue. What you might find like I did is that when you tap through an issue, your eyes will open to another side of the same issue. Then you tap on that, and another side gets revealed. It's like peeling an onion, each issue has many different layers. And a lot of issues have some of the same layers.

My basic tapping thechniuqe is the normal '"even though i .... i deeply and completely accept my self"

Then after a few rounds I might just tap with a positive affirmation.

    Some recommended websites:
EFT (Tapping) Emofree.com is The Gold Standard for EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)

    Wikipedia had this to say

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a form of counseling intervention that draws on various theories of alternative medicine including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming, energy medicine, and Thought Field Therapy. It is best known through Gary Craig's EFT Handbook, published in the late 1990s, and related books and workshops by a variety of teachers. During a typical EFT session, the person will focus on a specific issue while tapping on "end points of the body's energy meridians". Practitioners claim that they can use the technique to treat a wide variety of physical and psychological disorders, and that it may also be used as a simple form of self administered therapy.[1]

Wikipedia tends to have a pro-skepticism view of anything that doesn't fit into traditional scientific viewpoints. It's definitely not the best place to learn about something like EFT which is based entirely on the non-physical (and thus "non-scientific") acupuncture meridians.
