the only way to truly live in the now and have it be a decent experience .. is to have as long a view into the future as possible so you can take the actions now .. to put you in the best future

I like " look back but don`t stare" In my work as a therapist I help people gain some insights from looking back at early role models and when I am coaching I help people use those insights to move forward away from limiting beliefs. So there is nothing wrong with having a future plan and goals AND yes ......... living in the present moment is the key to real peace of mind.

Totally agree. Remember the movie "The Lion King", when the monkey hit the younger lion and said something like this: "...wherever happens in the past remained there..." so he must go on with his life NOW". Nothing can changed the past but he could decide his now and future. All we have is the "NOW". So live it up!

I do agree with you Floody Mack.

However one can not neglect the fact that the goals we set do require some planning ahead and taking action on a daily basis in order to achieve them. I have lived the last three years of my life living very much in the now. It was an awesome time and I had tons of fun, but I wasn't really getting anywhere.

Now I have set rather large goals that may take some time to get there, but with some logical and necessary planning on my behalf, I know I will make it sometime in the near future.

The schedule I work on now is working towards my goal Monday - Saturday and live in the now Sunday.

Bearing in mind when we set up residual income that is fully automated we can live in the now 24/7 .

    All the best,

    R.S

Good advice, but hard to keep. I think kids are better at it than grownups.
