    • Take the first step to mend a broken relationship
    • Seek the opinions of those who think differently
    • Know when to say no
    • Evolve
    • Challenge the norms
    • Talk straight
    • Are comfortable with ambiguity
    Unsuccessful people:
    • Wait for someone else to apologize first
    • Surround themselves with like-mindedness
    • Are addicted to busyness
    • Stay stuck where they are
    • Are comfortable with sacred cows
    • Spin the truth
    • Seek to control

    In other words,

    1. Know what they want and don't have
    2. Are clear about what they need to close the gap between the two
    3. Locate the information
    4. Take action ASAP
    5. Allow time for their actions to yield results (they don't jump from one thing to another)
    6. Address any results that aren't in line with what they expected
    7. Repeat this in any area the want to be successful

    It's how people manage negative vibes. When you become unsuccessful, you slowly begin to question everything and start to consider all things negative. It's just like depression. It will slowly control you and will eat you up until it has full control on you. It's really sad that there are people who don't know how to take failures as challenges.

    How will you distinguish between successful and unsuccessful people? Successful people never quit whatever be the situation while unsuccessful people quit whenever they face difficulty. Successful people always try to finish something whatever be its result but unsuccessful people get away unfinished. Successful people talk less and work more but that is totally different for unsuccessful people. You may not see that successful people always have great ideas but they know how to make ordinary ideas for great results.

    although i truly believe in god i think it´s not the only factor for success - would be nice if ;-) One key factor definitely is consistency. Just if you can stick to one thing and do it until you are successful you'll be able to succeed.
    success is just a matter of consistency, i have seen it very often not just for me but also for others. if you keep going while others give up you will be successful. that is why so often we are just successful when we have no other choice. because then we don't give up

    I think success = consistency + the right focus/strategy

    You could have the best focus/strategy in the world and without consistent action, it is likely to go nowhere.

    Or you could keep doing the same, but wrong, things over and over again.

    Neither will give you success (without huge amounts of luck).

    It's having both that leads to success.
