I believe my biggest roadblock is finding a niche to start putting the marketing practices I have learned into place...or at least that's what I think my problem is.

I'm interested to hear the communities thoughts on how I can get through this roadblock. Can anyone recommend a beginning guide to being successful in the online marketing world?

Thank you in advance, hopefully this will be the beginning of my success story.

I would recommend you to start in financial niche. This is how I started and how I am making lots of money today. Payouts are great and markets are huge... Drop me a message if you need a guidance and I will help.

No matter what niche you go into, make sure you have passion and interest about that niche.
Don't go into a niche you are interested about.

Start with a product you love to buy.

A product that helps you do the things you're most passionate about.

    There's your niche.

For example, if you like to workout just talk about it as much as you can.

Address common issues and suggest products as the solution.

Choose something you love talking about and suggest related products along the way.

You'll be able to create content with ease from the heart, and you'll build a consistent fan base of like minded people.

They won't buy because you're a good marketer. They'll buy because they actually like you...you're one of them.

tekstep, believe me - you are not alone, it will take some time to start generating profit. My first bucks came to me after more than a year time spending on internet.

Don't give up,learn, learn and put some effort in methods that you apply.

This is a tough question to help people with on the forum, typically it takes some conversation and even coaching to sort this out...and yes, it is a CRITICAL question to starting any business, offline or online.

In general, one way to start is to begin with broad markets - self improvement, health, relationships, finance, cooking, pets, etc... Any one of these broad markets have thousands of promising niches and under that, many different ways to tackle the market.

If you can narrow down the market (based on a combination of passion, knowledge, contacts and commercial market research) then honing in on a niche within that market is much simpler...often comes down to a day or two of digging into the market and uncovering most common motivations, frustrations, buying activity, etc...

Get a market or two and then work to hone in on your niche.

Why don't you test Fiverr or similar. Find gigs that you would like to buy and then try to introduce similar gigs for sale. Before you know it, you will sell a few and you will have more confidence on internet marketing. All the best...

My three favorites are Health, Wealth, Relationships.

Dominate anyone of these and your returns will be splendid. Considering you have all the Right sales techniques that is!

  • I believe that instead of thinking you need a niche is the problem, that you actually find out, discover for yourself what the problem is.

And, yes, I am sure this forum and all our replies are working together to help you out. I sure wish you the best in figuring out how to launch your business in a meaningful way.

    Stop procrastinating...

If you REALLY wanted it you would pick a hungry niche within a market (you know you know some) and just go with it.

Have some belief and MAKE it happen...
