How do you define wealth?

is it all money? for so many money is the end all be all, then we search for it and once we have it, we're not as happy as we thought we would be.

i have revised my definition of happiness to also include inner peace and good mental and physical health as well, 'cause how you gonna enjoy your riches with a poisoned mind and body right?

so what's your definition of wealth, is it all just money, money money or do you wanna just make the world dance forget about the price tag?

Wealth is not just having more money. Money comes and goes. I believe that real wealth is having the right mindset, knowledge and capacity to create financial wealth at any time under any circumstances.

I like it. Wealth is also subjective. everyone has its own Wealth imagination.

there is a difference between wealth and riches

a very large well kept lawn can be a sign of having riches .

but turning much of that lawn into a garden that produces food for your consumption that is healtier than anything you buy in a store ..or gives you excess to trade or sell for other things you want is wealth .

look at the show american pickers ..how many would walk through many of those places with know idea what that stuff is worth and think junk ..

while there are items worth a lot of money every where you look ..

Wealth is different for everyone. To me (with out the friends and family answer) but just money is when you can live forever without having to work again in your life because your assets can support your lifestyle. What ever that amount is varys person to person. Some may need asset income of 4 or 5k a month and they are happy, where others may need 40 or 50k a month. It is all about your liabiltys VS your assets. having a lot of money but no income producing assets, and having your money constantly drain is RIch, not Wealth.

Financially, wealth is having a significant amount of money to the point of not really having to think about it much. More generally, wealth is happiness, freedom, peace, elation, contentment and so forth.

Exactly right. You can't enjoy any of it with a poisoned mind that is full of painful thoughts and images and therefore blocked from being able to clearly perceive and appreciate the good things. All of reality is filtered through the mind first and it's filters to be interpreted by the conscious (experiencer). So if those filters are distorted from all the mental poisoning and hypnotic conditioning, then the experience will be colored by that. You can't get the experiences without them first going through these filters (the 'outlook').

Have to work on clearing your mind and cleaning the filters of it. Unfortunately memories are not deletable and conditioning and intrusive thoughts are not in our direct control and so automatic. Though we can manipulate it somewhat and improve our outlooks. NLP, hypnosis, meditation, behavioral habit training, etc, these things can improve the mind and correct distortions. Without that, you won't even be motivated to get these things in the first place.

Without the ability to enjoy the things you have what is the point. It's like finally getting your favorite food you've been wanting for a long time, then when you eat it you can't really even taste it cause your taste buds are dulled and distorted. Would it then matter that you got your favorite food?

Of course a lot of the help that could improve our mind and body costs money or time. So if you have a lot of money though a poisoned mind/body then you're still in a much better position to get the help you need to correct those things than when you were struggling to keep up with only your essentials.

So somewhat of a catch 22 if those things are blocking your financial success in the first place, though all you even have time or money for is keep up with basics and no time and money left over to invest in mind/body improvement. You have to find a way to get over that catch 22 and gain leverage even with a poisoned mind, then you can gain the time/money to invest in really improving it.

Though don't only gain finances and stuff without investing in your mind/body is the point.

Yes! Quoting jesee j's pricetag of course, knew someone would recognize it, been trying to figure out what she meant when she said forget about the pricetag, and i think she meant do the thing you love most and the money will follow.

Wise beyond her years i must say.

  • Wealth is relative to all. Since that is the case, you name it and it is that person's wealth.

One man's trash is another man's treasure. We are that different in our perception of wealth.
