Problem: Not Earning Anything. Solution: Give Up.

Then try something different. I'm tired of people following the old cult of I must not give up, then maybe one day I'll magically make thousands of passive income.



Weither you're an entrepreneur or an affiliate marketing god, I understand, persistence is key. But there's something failures have that successful marketers don't: they give up when things don't change for the good.

If you're constantly doing the same thing over and over again, you're insane. Persistence is key but only if you see progress. If you don't, then you're doing something wrong. Do too many things wrong, and you're aiming for disaster.

I quit affiliate marketing 2 years ago and recently got back. I had a $24.60/ hour job before, which as an operations manager taught me many things. I learned to be patient, but learned when something was not working.

I recently got back to affiliate marketing and have made more than $900, on my first month. I learned from my mistakes that I made years ago, combined with the characteristics I inherited from my job.

If you're not seeing progress, do not repeat. Change it up again, and see the magic go to work. Just don't give up.

    thanks for sharing this sometime i stuck in my comfort zone even when i see that my earning dropped, i still use the same method.. i think i should learn what works and what not and learn something new

    You could say that the process of choosing another venture (when the previous one is unsuccessful) isn't giving up but actually making progress. ;-)

    Solution? Keep going. Don't give up. But try something different.

    @Dan Best - It was most likely that he came back more focused. I know how rewarding taking a break can be.

    Remember, YOU are YOUR BUSINESS! If your mind is full of junk, how do you expect to be able to think clearly?

    Sometimes, if you have chosen the right domain of work, perseverance might turn out to be great. Change is good, but in some cases you have to practice and practice until it turn out perfect!

      Exactly. I suspect that for most people “determination” is something they need to be successful. Most people give up way, way too soon.

    You are doing something for a while but not getting the result. I advice you simply give up and try something new. Your failure may happen for number of reasons. So it is better to try something else than looking for those reasons. It will save your time and remain you confident. Perhaps the new beginning will give you a great success.

    It's definitely a skill to know the balance between not giving up and learning from mistakes. It takes time and experience to gain that skill. I think that a big part of not giving up is trying different way to achieve the big goal. There's more than one way of doing anything.

    well i ignored the post..and will respond to the einstein quote ..

    he was a scientist..it is a basis of science ..and usually requires a lab ..

    the rest of us are subject to deminishing returns ..where over time doing the same thing over and over .. normally will get you smaller and smaller returns ..

    look at this by looking at wage earning in the country..though people are spending more to live.. over the last 30 years ..people are working more hours .. and wages are either stagnant or falling from an inflation adjusted standpoint .

    when something is not profitable and it looks like it won't be .. its time to stop it .. but in the area of internet marketing.. it might be that you are developing skills that will be valuable ..

    but if you are not learning anything..or making anything.. it is time to look for an actual opportunity

    According to me, you have 3 types of people: blind people(like Einstein quote), desperate(give up people) and warriors (people who fail 1000 times) who never quit!

    You will never reach your goal if you not enjoying on your journey (the path).
