I shared this great article today and I hope you find inspiration, motivation, hope or just pleasure in reading it. Looking back I could never have dreamt that one day I would write a headline called Proud to be a Failure

    I don't look at these as failures, but as the article title states "obstacles" or even setbacks. I loved what Thomas Edison said "I have not failed, I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work". That's the attitude I've always had.

      I agree with the sentiment wholeheartedly but we do have to write headlines that make people want to read the article. xxx

    Every "failure", just like every "mistake", is just another lesson learned and another step towards your final goal.

    Or, in other words, if you haven't failed, you haven't tried anything, and if you haven't tried anything, you're not getting any closer to your goals.

    Failure is something we all experience. We cannot succeed meaningfully if we haven't tasted the bitter pill of failure. But there has to be a catch if you say you are proud to be failure. Nobody loves a failure. So why be proud?

      Is that true that no one loves a failure.... I bet I could find someone that does. The headline has a purpose ie to make people want to open the article. Its had 500 views since yesterday so I guess its a good headline. Am I proud....... not of the failure of my business but I am proud that I was able to rebuild my life.
