Some of the best advice you can ever receive

There are many success-oriented people out there on warrior forum, which I absolutely applaud. One thing I would like to know is how many of you start your day thinking about your intentions, not your goals, but the reasons you set these goals?

If you're not doing this, you could be missing out on manifesting the business and money you want. Why? Because intention is an important step in making the goals work because it gets you in touch with what you really want out of life. For example, many of you want to make 10k a month. But the reason you want to make this is because you want to feel the FREEDOM of not having to struggle through life, of choosing how you spend your time. You want the SATISFACTION of giving resources to people and things you feel are worthy, of providing for your family and others and doing favors for those people.

When you remember the reasons you have set the goal, the goal has more resonance with you. Think about one of your goals today and then supercharge it by focusing on the intention and how that makes you feel. You'll notice the difference in your energy immediately.

Start tomorrow by asking these four questions to yourself:

1) How do you intend to feel?
2) What do you intend to give your focus to?
3) What do you intend to spend your time doing?
4) What attitude do you intend to have?

and

Why are these things important?

For example, my daily intention is to 'feel blessed and abundant after getting in connection with source energy via a daily gratitude and meditation ritual and to leverage this energy in my daily activities. '

By doing this, I am allowing the universe to lead me to 'inspired actions', which get me closer to my goals, rather than doing menial tasks out of habit.

So think of an overall intention for your life and make you daily intentions are something that resonate with that - make sure you include feelings in your intention statement as this will supercharge your intention.

Let me know how it goes. And feel free to ask me anything else....

Cheers

Linda

I love this Linda. I actually started a personal development Forum for warriors because of that very reason. There are quite a few of us positive spirits lurking around here. =-)

This is a great point. Yes intentions are much more powerful than goals and we should definitely be setting our intentions.

The worst advice i ever got was a man told me instead of paying for stitches or bandaids you should super glue the wounds closed. And no im not anywhere near stupid enough to superglue a wound closed instead of taking them for stitches.

This has to be on of the most useful advices I ever came across. A lot of us forget that our intentions take birth before our goals and it's REALLY important to have positive intentions to ensure we meet our objective. It may sound simple but it can make a HUGE difference in the long run.

Important point about those 4 questions: many people can understand them intellectually and think they have a good answer, when in reality the answer falls far short of what they're really capable of. Why? Because you can't conceive of an idea without either 1) feeling (believing) that it's real, OR 2) visualizing (imagining) that it's real.

Number 1 only comes from experience, so I recommend that people focus on #2 when trying to answer the 4 questions. Is there something you want to do, but don't think it's remotely possible? Try closing your eyes and creating a picture of what you'd look like living your dream.
