hello ,

I know i cain be a real P.I.T.A ..but one of the thing i find off about this forum is the obsessive need to understand ..or explain why people fail . or at least fail to be in the .001 percent of humanity on the planet who builds wealth ..and lives very well .

personally i know why my life ended up in a complete mess on every level ..and how i ended up broken..hopeless worthless ..with a noose around my neck trying to end the pain for good ..when you lose all control of your emotional state and you are 6 days into a massive anxiety attack ..

anyway i know why people fail.. i know why people end up in jobs they hate ..living paycheck to pay check ..when their only outs are getting drunk on the weekend or doing drugs.. or sitting in front of the tv ..stuffing their faces with tasty take out .

there are also 3 - 4 billion people on this planet who live every day on less that the cost of a large Starbucks coffee.

there are 13-15 million people around the globe with net worth over 1 million dollars and that may be adding a few extra million.

that leave 7 billion people who won't . now there may be a billion of those who could but don't .

so now to explain on of the thing successful people do instinctual that the majority of humanity misses .

They don't just stop as seeing the reality of how thing are or how they have been ..then draw a line out expecting things to be the same .

People who acquire wealth do it by seeing how they can change the reality now and into the future . even if 999 out of 1000 people don't get it .

Bill gates saw a computer in every home ..when at the time computers where expensive and hard to use . Donald trump.. sees the biggest and the best building he can build .. or an exclusive high end golf club where one doesn't exist .

most are not simply doing the opposite of what the masses do .. they are seeing where the masses are going and they build something now ahead of the masses ..and profit when the masses arrive .

most of the time the masses didn't even know they wanted or would want a thing until it is there to be wanted and other people like them want it .

the masses are really not the masses anymore either. With the trends that are going on the masses may only come together to share the america idols or the duck dynasties or what ever is popular . but we are all personally separating into smaller groups according to what we are most interested in and what most everyone else may not get .

find out what you fit into and how you can supply others in your odd little corner of humanity with what they want and what they may spen a good amount of money on .

I think that people try to understand failure for 3 reasons.

The first is that it's a very frightening thing for a lot of people. Oftentimes we are not taught that failure is simply a step to success, and instead are taught that if you fail once that's the end, because you didn't succeed. Whether or not you believe that this is true, it seems to be something that's taught in most of society, and even if you don't believe it, there's always that lingering fear in the back of your mind, that little voice that questions whether or not you're actually doing the right thing.

The best way to defeat fear is to confront it, to analyze and understand it. Therefore, if you have a fear of failure, you must learn to understand failure and become comfortable with the concept.

The second reason is specifically to confront that lingering fear that says that you're not doing the right thing with your life, and your hardship is proof that. People need a mental justification to fight against that voice to keep moving forward, because if you don't keep moving forward, you will fall behind and will never reach your goals.

Which leads us to our third reason, which is because people do not want to fail, or more specifically, because they want to succeed at some point, they want to know what problems can be avoided in the process. If they can successfully learn to avoid specific mistakes, then they will, in theory, make fewer mistakes and move that much faster along the path to success.

Personally, I don't think that fighting your fears is a bad thing, nor that doing research and being prepared is a bad thing, as long as you eventually take action with what you've learned. Even if the same things are repeated over and over and over again, it is simply a mental process that one must go through to get where they want to go in life.

That's what I think, anyway. XD lol

failure aversion to the extreme we have been taught in the modern world..is many ways based on the education system that trained us to be interchangeable people for big businesses ..

i works in manufacturing ..food processing ..and any problems cost a lot of money ..and when you add a little to much coloring and mess up thousands of dollars in products or any number of small mistakes .. yeah you want to be very failure averse

you want your surgeon and your accountant to make no mistakes .

I know i became a nervous wreck because there where so many things that went wrong in the long term job .

the problem is he people who best follow instructions and make few if any mistakes tend not to become very wealthy . some may ..

in the world we live in the people who make the most money make mistakes that avoid taking them out ..and make their big bets and get others to cover the risk of loss .

look at athletes who in many cases are just highly paid employees . yes they make mistakes and take risks ..but many get in the habit of putting everything on the line every game .

the greatest failure someone in the world can manage today is over train in skill that can be done by somone else somewhere in the world cheaper. that can be replaced by automation . and or a computer program ..the very thing the education system trains people to be is the thing not to be right now .

I founf myelf in that boat 4 years ago .. and have been trying to retrain myself .. more and more people find themselves there every day and there will be a time when the job as we see it now does not exist ..

the most successful people will be the ones a company may hire .. but they will be paid for what they produce and everyone involved will know it is only a 3 month to 3 year deal .

the very things that where symbols of success or are .. will be either full on liabilities or hindrances to being successful .. very high overhead lifestyles are not good if ever few years there is a gap in earnings .

the I'm thing is really a new thing . yes it has been 10 years . but it is still not mainstream as a way to earn money . and it take a lot of failures that don't take you out to get anywhere when most people do not get it .

bah i am babbling on incoherently

You got me thinking about this quote, "Things are not brought into being by thinking about their opposites. Health is never to be attained by studying disease and thinking about disease; righteousness is not to promoted by studying sin and thinking about sin; and no one ever got rich by studying poverty and thinking about poverty."

What you resist persists. So do we just pretend it's not there? Fake it 'til you make it? Sure, sometimes that works. When it doesn't then you have to deal with it directly. Acknowledging poverty exists and is a problem is far different than studying why it happens or how people became that way.

What's going to cure poverty faster - diagnosing why somebody is poor or doing something about it by learning skills to become rich?
