What goals keep you in focus?

I'm sure we've all read the success books that say you need to visualize your goals to keep you motivated. So I'm curious to find out what goals motivate everyone here? It can be anything but it does have to be tangible. "Feeling secure" doesn't count.

My financial goal is to reach $80K/Month

I want to buy an Audi TTS as my daily driver and an Audi R8 as my sports car. Then I want to get a larger home because we're cramped in our house now haha

What kept me focused was my desire to keep my family well supported so they could have whatever they want - WITHOUT me having to have a day job.

I've accomplished that and now i stay focused just because I want all of the money I can get so they will be ok if something happens to me.

For me it's also weird if I put a high goal. I don't know why, if I put a goal like "I'm going to make 20k/month" for example, I will feel like "Nah, it's too unrealistic, never happen".
So I normally make a plan and only set daily goal, for example: today I will write 3 articles, stuff like that. When I accomplished that small goal, I feel satisfied with myself and keep me motivated.

So impressive that you put your goal as high as 80k/month!

It is always important not to lose from sight your main goals and objectives...

My main goal is to make a decent amount of money online each and every month. I am earning from an affiliate program that I am a member of and from from various projects that I take on from various sites.

My goal is 20k a month.. after i reach that i guess 80k would be my next challenge after i doubled up to 40k

I though we have the same thinking...just want to share my experience!

When I first started doing IM - my goal is 50K/month. But after a years its seem unrealistic and beyond reach. I am nowhere and only get maksimum 3K/month and its only 1 month... I felt so frustrated and almost quit.

After reading somewhere, instead of focus on money I switch tasks as my accomplishment and its become my daily goal...

Wow! That would be something! Is that sustainable? I mean, is it possible for your 10 sites to make $100 per day?

You mean, all the 10 sites to make a total of $100 per day or each and every of them of them to make that amount of money?

In any case, good luck to you, and I really hope that you will achieve that goal of yours!

    Very nice car, mrsforex

Motivation to me is knowing that if I dont act now whats my life going to be like 5 years from now.

Will I still be working the regular 9-5 striving away if I dont act now. I will still feel unsatified with life. Not being able to travel the world and venture with successful people. Living life it instead of designing your life.

If you can put more intensity on that an feel the feelings of not having what you want. It will instantly provide you with motivation.

I would assume that if you set a goal you will always have some reason for doing so. I don't think you ever do anything without reason but you're just not always aware of what the reason is.
Have a strong why or purpose will definitely help drive you but I don't think that it will necessarily keep you focus.

I was procasting for a long time. Not focusing on my goals and taking action. One day i broke down and said to myself " Why the BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP am I taking wasting time doing things that dont serve me" I really got pissed of myself.

Crazy right. But now im fully focused more than ever. My mindset has totally shifted and my business is change for the better, Well lets say im making much more even though i was making money when i was procastinating.

    Hello Dana,

Success is not all about money for many of the happiest folks in our world.

Having a loving family and your health are much more important.

Money can keep you warm, but also add stress, if maintaining it becomes your focus.

Helping others without asking for payment is the most rewarding.

    Best Regards

What keeps me in focus is the sense of freedom and the endless opportunities that internet marketing promises. I am not after huge money, what I am really after is to be my own boss, to work as much as I want, to be able to have free time any time of the day and to have various passive income streams.

Normally, our main motivation is financial freedom because we believe that it creates a good lifestyle.. Anyway, most of us wanted a new house, a new car and lots of properties.. however, we need to realize that getting them all does not really give enough satisfaction..

For me, my primary motivation to achieve my goal is HAPPINESS.. I just wanted to be happy and satisfied with my life that's why I want to achieve them :-)

Almost 4 years ago, when I was in high school, I was dating a beautiful Italian girl and we fell in love. Although we have grown distant, I have learned a lot from that experience, because it was my first time traveling abroad. It certainly changed my life, and changed my direction completely.

Years later, this girl and I are back and touch. Years wiser and more mature, I still feel a strong connection with her, and that's what keeps me motivated, as silly and hopelessly romantic as it sounds...

I've got the plans to build my internet business, make enough money to rent an apartment there for a year until she gets her visa and can come back to America with me. Although, it's nice to focus on the material wealth that money can bring, there's one thing so far away yet so near to my heart that money is only a medium of exchange to get to the place I belong.

    Thanks for reading

I want to make sure their homes, cars etc are paid off so they can travel and enjoy the golden years. Their love and support for me in this crazy industry inspired me to become more then I thought I ever could. ;-)

Here's what keeps me focused on my goals and this is the same why I won't fail in attaining them

I'm 19 but I think I have this down pretty damn well if you ask me.

I want my net worth to be at 1M by the time I'm 25(Don't worry, I have 5 years!) and I'm going to do this only through the passions I have in life. I love studying the fundamental laws of the universe and the effect and role our mind plays in these laws. (For some reason These just "happen" to be the same laws that apply to success.) Along the way and as I learn more, I'm going to help and teach as many people as I can(another passion of mine)and in the greatest way possible. In other words I'm only going to make my income from providing true value in one's life. At this point I'm going to teach people how to trade markets for a living and strongly encourage the passing on of my knowledge

I want the world to be a better place because I was here and I want to be rewarded through financial independence(but not at the cost of an arm and a leg).

What are the reasons I have for striving for my net profit being so high? Well, to be perfectly honest I don't want to be locked up inside all day long for the rest of my life doing things I don't want to do. Life isn't about how financially wealthy you are it's about how wealthy you truly are.

Who knows what life's going bring me in the future. I could decide to be a monk or I might end up running a multi-national cooperation. Sh t, I might end up doing both. The one thing I know for sure is that being financially abundant early(these are same tools that enable me to live a great life) in life gives me the opportunity to do whatever I feel I need to do later on without the thought of crash and burn.

That's what keeps me on track every step of the way. It is fundamentally sound to me and what I feel is truly important in all of my life; it has nothing to do with the things I own. I prey that it isn't materialistic possessions that drive a certain income but rather the thought of financial independence. In all honesty, they should come hand in hand. If they don't, you might want to see if you'd like reevaluate your priorities. Just a friendly suggestion

One last thing, this really helps me stay focused on my goals.I actually learned this concept from Will Smith lol.
You can't set out with the intention of putting up the greatest wall that's ever been built. You must focus on laying one brick perfectly each and every day and In time the wall will build itself
