Big Goals vs. Small Goals

I see this question popping up a lot:

"Should I set small goals or big goals when first starting out?"

So I made a video to lay out my thoughts on the way that I personally set goals.

Here is the video link

However, I know there are probably a lot of you out there who have had success that may have set goals differently than me.

So I was wondering, what ways do you guys set goals in your businesses?

Thanks!

one big goal with much smaller goals set which by achieving .. make the big goal attainable .

if you want to lose weight and keep it off permanently ..it requires many life changes ..that for most people are almost impossible to implement at once ..

so rather than leaving it as one goal ..of losing weight . and then a list of things .

separate each of those things into a different smaller goal .

a goal for how to eat every morning..every lunch..every evening ..when tho get the healthy suff in..and when you can have something real tasty that may not be best for you .

a goal to learn what you eat that makes your body feel better after you eat it..a goal to learn what portions to take so you won't eat to much ..i goal to learn when your body wants you to stop eating .

a goal for staying hydrated..and getting into activities that create health .

a goal to work get in the gym every so often not to work out and get stronger.. but to see if what you are doing outside the gym is improving your strength and making you stronger .

    ..

What I have tended to do over the years is to "look at the goals" daily. Whether one sets 1 big goal and multiple smaller goals or a number of smaller goals the most important aspect is to not lose focus on the goals you have set.
Life and our challenges can really distract us from our specific goals that we want to accomplish but by just looking at our goals often ,we can be brought back to what needs to be done, Thus, allowing us to not "spin our wheels" quite so much and getting more important things each day.
Setting goals are very important but not losing track of the goals we have set are just as important.Repetition, repetition and repetition.

my opinion about the big/ small goal you should go for first....

well, actually you can get whichever you want , the bottom line is you have to take the one that will activate/ trigger yourself to move forward. That's the first idea.

After that, the next step is you have to go for small steps first before you aim to the bigger one, one step at a time.
