Hi,

I can see that WF has tons of information for making money.

My problem is that I can't seem to decide on a strategy for generating income. Sometimes I pick a method and then I lose interest quickly before making any money.

I know you need passion to be successful but I can't seem to find my passion.

I guess I need help with my mindset. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Ed

You should never be focused on one thing.

I'm sure you will have heard somebody telling you that it is always best to have multiple things going on at the same time.

You should find a niche or two that you are interested in and start some sites. Keep writing quality content and in time you will be able to monetize and reap the rewards.

Moving onto something new is not a bad thing as long as you stick with the previous thing and work on it at some point every once in a while.

    passion is misleading

what you do does not need to be your passion but in the process og getting it done and making money it should bring out many of your passions ..and bring up a desire to get better .

in many things there are elements you would rather not do ..but the more things mixed in you are really passionate to do.. the more you are fine with the other tasks ..

I'd suggest testing a few and find one you can enjoy. There is a lot of set up work with many methods. So it will help you find something you actually enjoy doing. That will make the time spent on it worthwhile.

Making money online can take time. You start work and the money doesn't automatically head straight into your bank account.

This is why a lot of people get frustrated and then move onto something else.

There has been some great replies so far. Like it is good to try something else but make sure you keep the stuff going that you were doing before.

If you have done your research and are willing to persevere then you can make money online. Sometime it can be like a switch...all of a sudden something you have been working on for a few months will get ranked or you will meet critical mass with social media, you will get good volumes of traffic and the money will start rolling in.

It is believing in yourself and staying the course.

You've stated that you spend a lot if time on WF and read a lot. WF is a time sucker and can lead to inaction. It is time to take a leap of faith decide on an approach and go hell for leather.

One approach is to write a free WSO (will cost you $40 to advertise it here), direct it to your website to build a list and then try and make sales of the back of that list (but still give your list value). There are better ways but this as an easy way to get started.

Your website can have quality actionable content, sign up for social media accounts and start building a following. It will take time but if you give people value they will appreciate it and start to trust you.

Or completely different is to go hell for leather at CPA and just learn it.

There is a big discussion going on here:

      http://www.warriorforum.com/ad-netwo...month-cpa.html

You just need to get started and believe in yourself. There are a lot of posts about the Laws Of Attraction here. Do some research on that. Don't go into a project half-assed and not really believing.

      Belief-action-continued hard work = reward

I am not having a go here.....I am just trying to tell you that believe in yourself, stay the course and work hard and you will succeed.

Please feel free to PM me if you want to discuss further.

I wish you the best of luck and hope to read about your success on here in the future.

      Now go and take action!

I was in the same boat as you a few years ago, never being able to pick the right method.
My advice is to just to pick one method and don't give up on it. As mentioned before, writing some sites is a good start.
After some time you can start to try other methods, but not too many because you don't want to overwhelm yourself.

  • Hi Ed, . . . I noticed you had a join date of 2007 but only 24 posts. My simple beginner advice to you is first find the discipline to post on this forum say 5 posts a night, not create threads, just make to posts. Keep a log of all your days and see if you can keep focused. Keep this up for a minimum of six months. Yes, really.

You will only know you are ready to discover your passion when you have developed your discipline. Trust me on this.

The question you should ask yourself is: "What would I do with my time if I had all the money I needed, and didn't need to work." Somewhere in you answer you should find something you could be passionate about. Doing something you're passionate about for a living is a lot more fun than doing something you have no interest in. Plus you'll do a much better job, when you're really interested.

  • Passion is important but what gives you longevity is persistence. IM is a marathon, not a sprint.

motivation is really hard but i use my vision board. A board with pictures of all the things that would make you happy. not necessarily all materialistic. pictures of friends and family work too, as a reminder that money creates freedom to spend more time with others.
money in itself will never make you happy or motivate you.. but economic liberty gives you real liberty. so focus on that.
