creating your reality with words

hello,

most of the thoughts you think.. get forgotten..or weeded out quickly .

we form our reality based on our perception and we explain the perception with the words we use ..but it also matters how we define the word .

after something happens ..to remember it you will general fall back on your verbal definition of events ..and you create your perception of what is happening now based on the words you used to describe past events .

ever sit next to someone eating the same thing you are ..and had completely different experiences in your reality ..what ever you ate was disgusting..in the other persons ..it was delicacy.

listen to a person who built their wealth and you will hear a much different use of words than someone who has not built their own

The way you look at and relate to the collection of circumstances and things that surround you, create a package in your mind that you call reality. If you change the way you look at or relate to any part of this collection you change your reality.

When we articulate something, we automatically label it. Labeling something always changes our way to relate to it. The act of articulating a memory or feeling is to change it.

You do create your perceptions - your reality - with words. And with images too.

Which is why a lot of self help books including Tony Robbins' place a lot of emphasis on the language you use.

Eg: Using the word "challenge" instead of "stupid problem". Creates completely different responses in our minds. Which in turn influences how we react to that circumstance.

      Thanks!
