Model your business on someone that already successful. I managed to get one of my sites to number 1 in Google (now slipped) but I remember him saying "its a numbers game" the more you have the more chance of money to make. That motivated me to carry on even though without a single sale.

I think the one thing thats keeping me on track is that I had a measurable result being that I actually had my website at Number UNO in Google. That alone prove that I was doing something right. Upwards and onwards.

When you get your first result what ever that may be, continue it.

    Good Luck
    Michael

It's easy to get IMADD (Internet Marketing Attention Deficit Disorder).

Pick a project and dedicate every day for a given time frame to finish it.

Make a to-do list and make sure you accomplish a few tasks each day. It takes time, but all the info will sink in.

I found ONE easy to follow step by step program by Micheal Jones, and all you do is follow the steps and then repeat. The more you do the easier it gets.

Also stay focused on one task at a time. Always write down your to do list next to your goal list and check it off daily or weekly. Take a break and do some exercise.

    • Being able to do many things is a GREAT gift, but without learning to prioritize, not very much will ever be accomplished.

Decide on ONE main thing to devote most of your time on. It's perfectly FINE to have other things going on, just devote the majority of your time to that one main project.

When you either get a little burned out or hit a wall on the main project, jump over to one of the other projects for a break.

If you are having trouble deciding whether you have enough information to start a project, keep in mind that there will always be MORE information. It's the natural way of progress and information is no different.

If you have enough information to get going on your project, as in "you" feel the information is complete enough for you to accomplish your task, then QUIT looking for more and get to work.

You can always rework things later or put out another UPDATED product when and if you get more information.

The main thing is to PRIORITIZE and GET STARTED. To remain stagnant due to information overload is a FAST death in this business.

Keep in mind also that it is not always the things that "we" think will do well that work. Sometimes it's the little, "This might work" things that really take off. The ONLY way to KNOW is to take action and then use the results of those actions to guide your next Prioritization.

If you never take action you will never know the good or the bad.

Until that money starts coming in, this quote seems to apply:

Substitute "hanged" for "Mortgage Due!!" :p

This is so incredibly true!! Though a lot hate to admit it, and but this seems to be the best "Cure" most needed, but the worst part is the struggle in the mod of getting there....

    Hello,

I know that affiliate marketing is very time-consuming and sometimes confusing. There is so much information to learn.

There are steps to take. Certain actions to implement at certain strategic times.
I suggest sitting back a moment and simply thinking. No action. Think about what you have been doing and what you want to do.

Then, think about what you need to do. It is time for a notepad. Write down what you need to do. One step at a time. Mark the date--write down "number one"--and write what you have thought of. Oh! What you should be thinking on are solutions to problems you are encountering. Solutions is your focus, not problems.

So, now you are writing. Start acting on the solutions. Stay in the forums. Keep getting advice and take action.

So, take a breather, and enact a plan. I think if you do this, you will find that all the overwhelming feelings will go away the same day. Because you have other things on your mind, then. ACTION with a PLAN.

    I hope this helps.

    Success to you!
    Mariam

Hi! At first you should make a clear detailed plan of what to do, where all the needed tasks will be revealed and then just follow it. It's very important to do something every day that helps you to go forward. Maybe not to far, but anyway....
