Do You Take 1 Day off from Work Each Week?

I mean yeah, we pull back from time to time, to rest and take a break from our work.

Now I am struggling with something; it is Sunday. I just returned from India....chilling in NJ....after 36 hours of travel a few days ago.

I KNOW I should take the day off yet have the toughest time doing it. I feel energized. I love what I do.

My intuition has the answer....but I drown it out sometimes.

So off to read for a bit...I will see if I can spend a full day away from the laptop.

Do you take 1 day off each week? Why?

I take time off when I need to. I don't really take a whole day off very often because I always check emails but there are days I don't do any actual work.

1 day a week? I take at least 2. You need to do other things in life too, like being with family and friends.

I take Sunday off. I'm a spiritual guy and I believe that Sunday should be spent at rest. By "rest" I mean "not working". I might answer an email or two or check if I made any sales but, you won't find me on my laptop for more than 15 minutes.

  • Some times I take a day off from work, but for the most part I work some hours every day. By limiting the number of hours I work on the machine the longer I can go between "needed" day or days off. Thanks for asking.
