A book that will change your life

It's funny how how much time we spend looking for 'tactics' that will give us an edge in im. And how little time we spend on trying to find and enable our own principles that will allow us to come up with tactics of our own.

Last year i started a niche website with next to nothing and with 11 months had grossed over $60k. (Check out my previous post for an example of a tactic that i used to do this, a tactic based on PRINCIPLES that i had internalised mind you)

I attribute a lot of this to the frameworks of thought that i've built in through reading certain books and modelling the mental frameworks of great minds that have gone before me. The old, standing on the shoulders of giants technique i guess you could say.

One book in particular REALLY stands heads and shoulders above the rest as a guideline of some of the best mental frameworks in life. This is because the author of the book deeply analysed only the BEST minds and put together an incredible reference of their mental models. Minds like Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger and Albert Einstein. I have never seen their thought processes layed out so clearly.

So what's the book? "Seeking Wisdom" by Peter Bevelin (Here are some summarised notes on it for a quick intro - Notes).

I have a signed copy - it's that effin' good.

Hope this recommendation helps some you out!

I have read it. Yes, it is a good book about understanding how the human mind works. It's highly rated on Sivers.org too.

Too bad it's not for sale anymore. It's almost impossible to get a paperback copy. From where have you've got your copy?

      Hi Razvan,

I actually got it here: https://www.poorcharliesalmanack.com/seeking_wisdom.php

A signed copy by Charlie Munger himself also can be purchased for a little extra (he literally takes the time out to sign these copies by hand). It is to me, pretty much priceless.

    Ordering now. Thank you.

This is one of the few books I would give a 10+. There are many good books but few are as well written, comprehensive and useful as "Seeking Wisdom".
