Here's a quick way to find niches that's simply based on asking and answering questions.

Don't be fooled with it's simplicity - it works.

It's a systematic way for brainstorming ideas for niches and subniches that can be used in any niche area.

Summary

1) Ask a question about the niche

2) Use the answer to define the niche


The Detail

There are 5 areas of questioning:

When?

When do they want the results by? When do they want the problem resolved?

lose weight before getting married, stop a dog from biting within 1 month

Who?

Who wants the results? Who wants the problem resolved?

snowboarding for fitness fanatics, get rid of man boobs for 20 year old men

Why?

Why do they want the results? Why do they want the problem resolved?

learn how to play computer games to make a living, get financial advice to prevent losing your home

Where?

Where do they want the results? Where do they want the problem resolved?

relaxing beach holidays with no children, places for buying tropical fish filters in New York

How?

How do they want to get the results? How do they want the problem resolved?

learn Spanish by playing games, get rid of depression by using yoga


Can be combined to get smaller niches e.g. control acne using products found in the home for boys at college (How? + Who?)

    Quite simple technique, yet needs some refinements. I guess you have hidden every thing in your signature. Even then I like the way you elaborated.

        The technique above was intended as brainstorming about niches. This is when you know what particular niche to focus on, but are not aware of which aspect of the niche to use.

        Answering the questions will bring ideas to mind that you can then use to develop into possible full blown products.

        I have not hidden everything in my signature.

        I have different ways of finding keywords and niches and I am sharing them. The current links in my signature are to other threads that detail other keyword / niche research methods.
