The Mighty Water Secrets . . .
Water has secrets, very very big secrets. There are two things it knows that we don't so most of us never give it a second thought. It and it alone knows when it will become scarce either by drought or contamination. Consider the drought afflicting the west coast of America from southern California to the great Pacific Northwest.
Then there was this business in and around Charleston, West Virginia where over 300,000 people lost the use of running water for everything except flushing the toilets. The issue has not been resolved even after a week of flushing water lines. Odors linger and people just don't feel it's safe to use the water. Contamination and over use destroys the cleanliness of a lot of the liquid resource. I wonder how much that trucked in and bottled in water will have cost the counties when this is resloved.
The second thing only water knows is due to lack of future availability (something most of us cannot imagine just now), water sees the price going much higher compared to how it is now. Consider even today the cost of bottled water is already 2,000 times as expensive as tap water.
One of these days someone is going to come up with an idea, an angle that will have to do directly or indirectly with water. That one idea alone will make millions of dollars.
Which one of us will discover one of water's precious secrets even unrelated to the two above? Will it be a device, a filter, a marketing plan, owning clean water rich land? One can never say how majestic an idea might emerge. Makes one wonder, doesn't it? What can it be?
