Not being productive? Try this..

So, I've noticed recently that I'm not being as productive as I want to be. I seem to "procrastinating" a little bit too much..

Today however, has been very productive already and it's only 11:21am (Y)

What I'm going to suggest is a pretty well known technique, heck the same concept has a book written on it which is called the "The Pomodoro Technique" for any of you who are interested.

The concept is simple, you work for a specific amount of time and then you break. It's supposed to ensure you don't get bored of working because you are regularly taking breaks and doing something else.

Well, that's how I think it works at least. I haven't read the book, only reviews and case studies..

For me today, I've been working for 15 minutes flat out, getting lots done, then taking a 5 minute break where I'll go get some water and have a quick walk around.

As I said, it's just 11:20am and I've already got the majority of my most important tasks for today completed! The best bit is I don't actually feel as if I've done all that much work.

Try it out! You might be surprised!

Now, gotta go! It's time to take a break
