What Qualities Do You Need for a Successful Online Business?

Pretty much what you said. Persistence, focus, consistency..being in it for the long haul and not just seeing it as a way to make money. The ones who make it are the ones who view it as a business and a career with long term rewards. Most importantly, you have to believe in your ability to reach great heights in whatever you do. It's a mindset above all.

Another quality of successful people that is often overlooked is their appetite for knowledge. All extremely successful people read books, and lots of them. I have not yet discovered someone who is extremely successful that doesn't read daily, weekly at the least.

Yeah, persistence, focus, blah, blah, are all very well. But at the end of the day the easiest way to bypass the lengthy learning curve of trial and error is to BUY a successful business, or the knowledge to create one.

There are certain programs, products, marketing strategies, and unique ideas out there to fast-track you to success and propel you to the upper earnings category of the IM elite. Whether it's 20, 40, 100, 500, or 1,000k a year you're looking to earn, it's out there. I know, because I have something that no-one else has, I can reap exclusive targeted hits in the millions for a single article, and I've seen others do likewise with different strategies and products. Unfortunately most enter IM with no money, no skills, and no staying power. They envisage it as an easy way to make money, having seen so much hype spouted by the millions who rehash articles and MMO products in a never ending cycle of frustration for most.

Far better to do a regular job, save up what you can, channel all your non-working hours into research and learning about IM, and when ready THEN buy into something where your skills can be put to good use with a tried and tested exclusive product or service. Unless of course you have something good yourself.

That's my thoughts anyway.

Some will say that you need a mentor to hold your hand. But I don't buy into that.

Why?

Because in order for anyone to become successful online, they will need to 'transform' into that leader that everyone is so desperately searching for.

You will have to become a leader.

And the firs person that you could ever lead is 'yourself', because if you can't follow yourself, how do you expect anyone else to follow you.

You will also need a very strong level of 'certainty'. Know what you are after and know that you can get it.

Mindset is King.

Because without it, most of your efforts can be fruitless.
