    I don't know anyone who is truly happy. My friends have the fancy cars, cool partners, great home, great kids but something's still missing according to them. Contentment is sometimes attained by living a simple life and doing simple things, for example, I recently took some time out and went on a picnic with a friend. Something I haven't done for years but it was priceless and I felt content.

    happiness is literally a state of mind and we can all change our mental state just by thinking about an event in our life

    contentment is an entirely different matter and can only really be achieved when your life is congruent with your self-image and view of your place in the world

    two entirely different subjects

    so I am happy but not content myself

    Temporary joys are not true happiness.

    To truly feel happiness all the time, you must feel useful and have a dedicated purpose in life, something that gives you reason to get up every morning and push on even through the worst difficulties.
