Please Help! Is this happening to you too?

Please let me know if this sort of thing has been happening to you too:
Today, I spent 2 hours in the Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum answering people' questions. I've taken screenshots of some of my posts to demonstrate the kind of help/advice that I offer. Please see the following attachments: WF6 and wf7

About ten hours ago, my post count was: 2,011 Posts (Please see attachment wf8). My post count has now gone down to: 1,175 (Please see attachment wf9).

In my signature, I do advertise my thread, which offers SEO services. However, when I answer questions on the Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum, I do my best to address the question posed and I try my best Not to be self promotional, as I'm aware that being self promotional in a post is not allowed.

Is there anything that I can do to stop my posts from being deleted? I'm extremely frustrated because every time I make a post to this forum: Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum , it gets deleted. My posts are not getting deleted in any of the other forums.

I spend a great deal of time on the Warrior Forum, diligently trying to help people, and it is very disheartening to see all of my posts deleted after a short period of time.

Have you checked your post count lately? Is this happening to anyone else?

Disheartening indeed.. I am fairly new to this forum, but often I get into topics where cover wide ranges of helpful topics and refer my articles for deeper information on the topics.

If this isn't acceptable, then I personally wouldn't want to retype a full article when I can cover the basics and refer for those who want to look deeper before commenting on the subject...

Sorry for the lost in post. I have not suffered this yet.. Hopefully I never do..

    Julia,

I'm sorry to hear about this...

It is a real downer when you spend lots of time trying to help people... and your posts get deleted.

I don't have and exact reason for them being deleted... That is up to each moderator to interpret the rules...

My WAG is that they saw your posts as attempts to promote your services... I'm not saying you were... But, that is the way they may have been viewed.

    That being written...

If I were you, I'd answer the question on WF.... and copy and paste the text on your blog...

While this doesn't prevent posts from being deleted, it will help you build up a nice blog.... showcasing your knowledge.

Thank you for your suggestion; that's an excellent idea!

I could understand if I had written something in my posts like: "see my sig" or "click my signature", but I did none of that. I simply addressed the issues that were posed in the various threads. I don't think it's right to delete a member's posts just because he/she has a specific signature. SEO is my area of expertise. My ideas, opinions, tips, and valuable advice is basically being censored because of the services that I sell. I have written to the Help Desk on the Warrior Forum regarding the deletion of my posts. I hope that someone can stop this from happening. It is really unfair, to me and to other warrior forum members as well.

You're making an assumption that probably doesn't have a shred of truth to it. No one gets their posts deleted because they are on the topic of what you sell, unless you drop links in your posts, are self promotional, say see my sig, or make a bunch of really crappy posts that appear to be for signature exposure.

You could also be posting in threads that get deleted and when a whole thread gets deleted, all the posts are gone.

No one will stop it from happening if you are still doing whatever you were doing that caused it to happen or if you post in threads that are doomed to disappear.

Thank you for your input. I checked to see if the threads I had posted in had been deleted (I saved the URLs in a .TXT file after posting because I noticed that a lot of my posts were gone the night before), and none of the threads were deleted at all. Just my posts were eliminated. If you take a look at the attachments that I included in this thread, you'll see that I did not make self-promotional or crappy posts. That's why I'm so frustrated.

Sometimes technical problems happen and backups have to be restored, which may not include the latest posts. Because manually deleting 236 posts sounds a bit much. But you didn't post 236 messages in 2 hours did you?

Now saving your replies on a text file before posting, especially long ones, is indeed always a good idea.

    Julia,

I just got a PM from the mod who removed those. You know why they were deleted.

If you continue to post in large volume (or at all) with a signature that advertises blasting posts to forums for link juice, I'll turn your signature off permanently. And you won't have to wonder who did it or why.
