You need motivation.. let me help.

Lately I've been receiving motivation from Justin Lewis and felt like I should give some return to those of you here that might need motivation to keep going.

So many warriors need motivation to continue working at this business, that I want to try and be some source of help. I'm going to record a video for each person that asks for help and share some of my own experiences in the process to motivate you towards success.

Every single one of us has an opportunity to reach our goals and achieve the success that we so desperately want, but without being motivated, it can be extremely difficult.

What do you need motivation for? What is it that you are having troubles with? Why do you want to work from home? Why do you want freedom?

    Hey Ryan.

Thanks for the opportunity. : )

I suppose my question would be: “How to be more consistent in taking action?” I'm good when I get going however some days I'm not all that motivated and get less done.

Hey Jonathan, I recorded the following video for you:

      1. Find Out How You Work Best

Try working in short spurts to maximize focus. Don't expect yourself to work in a way that's unrealistic for how you work most productively.

      2. Create a Plan, Know Exactly What You're Going To Do

Do you have tons of time? Great! Even with the best intentions to sit and work diligently, what you'll most likely do is surf the net and waste gobs of time taking selfies if you don't know exactly what you're going to do.

      3. Create Urgency and Set Small Goals to Accomplish

If you work towards one big goal six months from now, it's easy to put it off "until tomorrow." But tomorrow never comes...

H.A.L.T., STOP what you're doing! Do Not Work When You Are...

Hungry - Low blood sugar and lack of food often cause you to lose focus and become irritable. How do you work best?

Angry - It's about mindset. If you are angry, you will lose creativity and your anger will always manifest in your actions.

Lonely - If you do not feel social, your interactions (and results) will reflect this. Attitude is everything! Get out and have fun!

Tired - When tired you will often make decisions you wouldn't ordinarily, and miss other key opportunities with lack of creativity. You need to be sharp!

Don't just work hard! Work SMART! Why else do you do this?

Cool. Really great info, Ryan. Thanks.

I love the point about sitting down and knowing exactly what to do. (I have a daily to-do list that I check off and keep updating.)

Today I wasn't interested in working at all, however, I go on with it and got some work done.

        Thanks again. : )

I think many of us a doing Internet marketing as part time and many have just started doing it full time after years of 9-5 grind, where we used to keep in check ourselves by our bosses, colleagues and subordinates.

I feel, If I just able to remind myself that I have burnt all my bridges ( if you have started doing it full time as in my case) or remind our-self as I need to be free someday from getting commands from bosses then I assume, we can be more focused in whatever we are doing.

In short, we need to remind ourselves our key "why" should be focused now in our efforts of having full time income online.

Cool post my friend. I'd like to thank you for giving up your valuable time to help and share with others.

I guess my question would be... What are your experiences and tips and tricks on handling fear?

I used to be a very shy and timid individual but I decided to just take a JUST DO IT approach to tackling my fears. But it's always cool to see how someone goes about doing such a thing.

      Hi SunnyDelight!

I recorded the following video for you:

Response to SunnyDelight: Tips for Dealing With Fear - YouTube

      Tips for Dealing with Fear:

      1. Stop the self doubt.

Realize you don’t have to be perfect. You just have to offer something. There will always be people who are better at something that you. But that’s not what it’s about. If you know more about something than another, you can help.

      2. Live now, not in the future.

Much fear is anxiety related to [insert future event that probably won’t happen here]. The problem with living in the future is that 95% of the time what you think happens, doesn’t—or at least in the way you think. Don’t live in “what if’s.”

      3. Become aware of the “mental noise.”

This noise is the mind’s tendency to create crazy stories, often based on past or future, but not based on facts. They are irrational. “I am no good because…” is an irrational, limiting statement. It serves no purpose, and hinders your progress.

      4. Realize that failure is not the end of the world.

If the worst that can happen doesn’t seem so bad, then suddenly the risk is much smaller. I remember one specific failure I experienced. I remember thinking, “Wow, this is the worst, yet I’ll be okay.” I made some adjustments and moved on from there. Emotionally attaching to a failure does absolutely NOTHING. If you can’t change something, worrying or stressing about it still won’t change it, and it therefore only serves to bring you pain. After something happens, let it go.

      5. Practice.

If someone was afraid of public speaking, maybe speak in front of one person at first, or in front of the mirror. It seems obvious, but “forcing it” rarely works. How can you become more comfortable doing something if you do not take the steps necessary to make yourself more comfortable?

A friend of mine recently went to a gathering with monks (yes, that’s right). They traveled to foreign countries to help people during these gatherings. The monks were working on a mandala, which is a large symbol or design that they were making out of millions of grains of colored sand. It was beautiful and ornate, and they worked in 24 hour shifts until it was complete. Guests arrived at the end and were in awe. What did the monks do?

They tossed it into the ocean.

Their message was clear: let go of outcomes.
