How to stay motivated on making $$$

by Zodiax

I get very fired up to make $$$, but than I find that I began to question the point, or if I even need to make $10,000-$20,000 a month.

Im trying to find a balance between making $$ and being fufilled in what I do.

I want to make money and be happy at the same time, not filled with boredom at the thought of making tons of cash.

What is my issue?

    No issue bro.

If your making money but your bored while doing it, you should invest into something your more passionate about, and build on it

This way it won`t feel like a chore with your rack in the doe and you`ll love what you do

My point is, If you do what you want to do and what you are passionate about it, you will also make more money. You can have both
So you focused on clickbank products you were passionate about?

If you make earning more money your goal, as you reach your goal you will be fulfilled. Figure out what you want whether it be in business or personal life, and then take actual actions that will bring you closer to reaching your goal. If you just think about it, change your focus, on to the next best thing always, you'll always be starting something new and never getting anywhere.

Don't be a grasshopper ... jumping around a lot but never getting anywhere

oh, and if you're not sure if you need another $10,000 or $20,000 a month, make the money and the decide if you like it or not.

    Hi Zodiax,

you don't have to focus on just CB product related to your passion niche. There's whole other spectrum of activities and methods you can do related to your passion niche and promote affiliate products.

But I don't understand what is really bothering you here - You are pumped up to make $$$ by applying Internet Marketing methods on something you are passionate about, right?

My advice would be to set at least short term goals. This way you can always check if you are still following that initial "path to happiness" without letting $$$ dictate your life.

I have the same issue. I recognize that I need money to pay the bills but at the same time I am not motivated to work my ass off just for money. I want to feel like I am contributing to making other people's lives better in some way.

What I like to do is make a goal. First I start the goal at a reasonable amount then work my way up. Also like joecason mentioned above, make sure you love what you do. If you spend time trying to make money on something you dislike doing , how are you going to proceed in the long run? Cheers

^ exactly what that guy said

set a goal and when you get to your check point, start investing in your hobbies or dreams and then sell or market that as a product

Sometimes making money online can be a drag but if you can work your way to the point where you can afford to move forward then your golden

Its ALWAYS about doing stuff you're good at without expecting returns, otherwise it turns into a boring repetitive task after sometime and you start losing interest.

Yes! It's actually quite fun to start off that way because it makes you stay positive in the long run.

We all go through our motivation stages, i cant be bothered allot and even when there are lots of sales coming in the novelty wares off fast so automate as much as possible to keep things consistent. Do what you enjoy and don't be repetitive you will get bored faster.

Making money on the web is a task heavy endeavour. Even the simplest website has a dozen different things that need to be done.

So, it's hard to narrow your focus, put aside distractions and get the real work done.

Why do you want to make the money? That will be your motivation. Money itself is boring. What you can do with money on the other hand is much more exciting.....

I completely understand where you are coming from on this.

Making money for money sake is not enough for many. Everyone has different passions and for some, making money may seem a like a chore.

The best way to get out of this is to hire someone to help you do your work and become a manager. This will give you a win/win.

      1. You will get your work done.
      2. You will have time to focus on what you find meaningful in your life WHILE your work is being completed.

If you are not at that level, work until your do, knowing that relief will come very soon

The post from oadvantage really said it all.

It's all about building that momentum until you're really comfortable in terms of money, to then outsource the tasks you might not really like to do.

From there on, you can then focus on the things you like to do and really start growing an automated business. And as you move forward, new things come along that keep you motivated or that you're passionate about.

Apart from just yourself, the people around you may influence your thinking. If your friends think that making money is not important, or they don't have the same drive as you to make money, it will impede your focus on achieving your goal. Hang around people who have the same drive as you to make money and are hardworking as well. Find other warriors in your area; that could be a good start.

So, you have actually earned this money and now are bored with how you earn it? Or, you are thinking ahead to the day when you will earn this and worried you won't like your 'daily job' and what you are having to do to earn that money? If it's the last option, then that's thinking too far ahead as most times, the daily effort of marketing will fill the empty hours you imagine you're going to be having.

I do not see you having a problem but something close to that.

Is the opposite of making money being fulfilled and enjoying life? Not saying it is or is not. But what it is for you. IF THAT IS the case then embrace the paradox – bridge the gap.

If it is not the case then it would be about shifting your mindset while you are working to simply enjoying your work more.

One of the cures for boredom is challenge. Find something interesting about what you do and capitalize on that. Or get so bored you start looking for something interesting. Most people seem to lose a bit of motivation after they start making a bit of money. Seems normal. Just saw a good vid on youtube about it.

For me – I love life coaching. I didn’t always though. I found the right combination of interesting, adventure, growth, and joy (among other things) to keep me going day after day, year after year, decade after decade. I learned to enjoy it and continue to enjoy it more. This helps sustain me in continuing to become the best life coach in the world.

It is one of the reasons I post on here more and more. I get paid to do what fascinates me. I also get paid to do my own inner work.

There are a lot worse things than being bored with work but maybe boredom truly is the worse thing for you? That would be tough then.
