Your Comfort Zone - Improving your tolerance

Wow, I will admit that today pushed me to wonder about my abilities. Glad to say it turned out productive in many ways. Last night I had my mind set to buy a new clothes dryer since ours wasn't working.

Today, I decided to do some quick research, AKA, YouTube browsing for fixing dryers. Seemed easy enough. I just had to replace the belt. So I bought a new belt for less than $20 and started taking apart the drying.

Way too many screws.. Not cool.. The majority of my time was spent with the screws, and it took 3 different screwdriver bits... (Are new ones like this?) After almost 2 hours of sweating through this I managed to get it working.

Needless to say, if it happens again... I am buying a new drying. At least I know how to fix a drying now. Silly you might think, but I'm proud to fix an appliance. First time for everything, and I believe I just expanded my comfort zone in this category.

Writing this quote also inspired me to write about a personal experiment I performed on myself
Accept the uncomfortable until it becomes comfortable.
Keep doing this and eventually, you will be accepting the impossible.
The experiment has been very beneficial to me, and after researching what I was doing, the medical benefits may prove this to help many others as well. This is a week long experiment that may influence you for months, or even years.

With Comfort We Are Confident – How To Develop Your Comfort Zone

This is a newly published experiment and article, so please provide any input and can offer. Thankful for any site comments also

Got chased by a rattle-snake and then chased it until it slithered back to its hole. After that I ran shoulder first into sharp cliff rocks, got riddled by mosquito bites, aggravated my MCL injury, and came home battered and happier than ever.

let me state it another way .. the us econmy is described as trickle down..so most people are content occasionally getting a bigger drop of the trickle .. there is no limit to the wealth in the world ..

there is no limit to the wealth in the world

there is no limit to the wealth in the world

there may be only so much gold .. only so much of this only so much of that or something else but there are a near endless amount of something elses that are valuable.

as damian and dain point out ..or the gist of it..is that the most important thing we are after without realizing at time is the experience ..if we don't have new experience that give flavor to our lives it does not matter how much money we have or do not have .

average people make choices to limit the possibility of a bad experience ..so they would be over her eating at the kfc and the mcdonalds at the mall ..aww hell they would most like just be on a resorts or something . not renting a 2 bedroom house for 3-6 month or even a year .
