Key To Success - Consistency

Consistency behind procrastination is the #1 reason people fail to reach the goal they accomplish. I myself have a problem with being consistent. If you can work hard and be consistent at it, you can achieve anything you want in life. Seriously.

#consistency #key #success

A video well done, and message worth hearing.

Another addition to this: Many of the skills required to be successful can be the very skills to lead you to failure. It is how you use those skills and the perspective you have on any outcomes you face.

    hello,

not going to disagree ,as this is basically truth .

if you are trying to do something that someone else like you has done before .. there is a pattern you can follow to get the results you want ..thing you do every day that will get you closer to the goal..and things you may have to stop doing .

If you want to build muscle a lot of muscle weather you do it naturally or with juice..there is a different way you eat for each ..and a different way you work out .

eating working out rest .as you need to rest for a day or two for the best results .

now rythym was left out of my genetic code i have had people stop me during YMCA.. and say ..just stop please ..

anyway .. there is consistent practice needed.. but there is also a need for someone to check in on you to make sure you are not consistently practicing mistakes .

after a certain age ..all of the problems we have or the conditions we are in..good or bad..are a result of what we do on a constant basis ..yes there are traumatic events that happen ..it is part of being human..but after these even to we take on consistent actions of a victim anchored in the trauma ..or do we take on consistent actions that anchor us to who we can be despite what has happened to us .. or whatever long term health issues we may have .

P.s sorry to bring part of the discussion from the other thread over here

I like what Warrior Jonathan 2.0 said about this. It is consistency of purpose over the long term that brings success in the short term and long term. This has been really true in my life because I have had consistency of purpose for decades.

But how do you find consistency without consistency of purpose? Why are you being consistent? What drives you? What is your Why? Because if you do not clearly define that, most people will not remain consistent over the long haul. What do you think?

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."

It's not hard from a neurological point of view to see how this works and I'd encourage anyone looking into becoming successful to assess and understand how neuron pathways operate.

From an evolutionary standpoint there is no 'failure' in your neurons by repeating what society would deem 'bad' behaviours. After all, those bad behaviours have kept you alive up until this point which is really the only purpose of your being aside from reproduction.

From this you can infer that changing neuron pathways take time, you literally need to display to your own biology that you are capable of doing something different without negative impact on your survivability. So in this way you need to literally prove to yourself (as other warriors know)you can do something different, before you'll be able prove it to anyone else.

All particles and waves in the Universe tend towards motion or action of least resistance. The same way a lighting bolt branches out and eventually finds its ground state through a single channel reaching the Earth. So you're always fighting an uphill battle against nature by improving yourself. It's only after enough time you'll begin to see those benefits.

A lot of people aren't willing to, or don't subconsciously know how to put in the time. I guess more success for me, eh?

Consistency is a great characteristic that all of us need to employe to build our business or our bodies. What I think is getting left out here is that you also have to push the limits every time that you are sitting down to work your business and every time that you show up at the gym. When we increase the pressure that we push against, we build muscle, mental and physical.

Not to rain on your parade, and I understand what you are attempting to say, but...
"Consistency behind procrastination is the #1 reason people fail to reach the goal they accomplish."

How can someone fail to reach a goal - that they accomplish? If they accomplished
the goal, then they have reached the goal.

Consistency behind (not exactly sure what that means) procrastination sounds like
someone who is a consistent procrastinator. If you are a consistent procrastinator,
then how do you ever accomplish anything?

I did get your message through all of that anyway. You are correct that it helps to be consistent,
but consistency is sometimes not even enough. You can be "Consistently" doing the same wrong things
over and over. It also takes careful planning, testing, setting up a game plan (sometimes referred to as goals),
and developing the "Can Do" mindset.
