One of the best books I've read in this area is Dave Lakhani's book "The Power of an Hour"
It talks about setting up a series of "spans of time" in which you eliminate all distractions - phone calls, e-mails, myspace, forums, whatever... and do nothing but attend to a plan to only work "In your business".
This means knowing exactly what you are going to before you hit that hour. Read all your e-mails and make your phone calls beforehand, and just dive-in.
I find that most of the time, I get seriously distracted, even things that can help me grow like reading forums, blog posts, e-mails, etc can be addictive and not conducive to making your business grow, whether it is in Internet Marketing or whatever you are doing.
Make time for creation and production... I guess that is what it comes down to.
For instance, how many times today have you checked your clickbank account or myspace when it could've been spent writing an article or a mass e-mail?
