The benefits of using a Whiteboard/Calendar

Hey Warriors!

Recently I picked up a whiteboard. I've been using it to keep track of my online goals through a tick-mark system. I hung it right beside my bed so every morning it's BAM right in my face.

Anyone else using a physical Whiteboard/calendar to achieve their goals?

I used to put up post it notes when I was training for throwing. I would find motivational quotes also and write them everywhere. Keeping things written down and reminding yourself of them everyday help to stay motivated.

Motivational quotes in your face at all times gets you moving for sure! After reading your reply I just wrote one down for myself.

      Thanks!

I also use a large whiteboard to keep track of my daily and long term goals. Also for brainstorming...

The simple tools are often the best

I use a big weekly plan on a paper which I put in front of my work space, so when I am working on my computer, I can always see it.
I got the idea from Kim Roach, google her, she is amazing and one of the few honest internet marketers I know.
I only have 3 main tasks I have to accomplish each day (I work 6 days per week).
I do them first thing in the morning BEFORE I check my email or I do anything else.
When I finish each task I put a big red cross on the right to each task name so I can see clearly what I have done and what I have not done yet.
I have found that seeing things visually and marking the tasks give me a much bigger sense of completion and satisfaction than just thinking about them. It also keeps me organized.
Doing the most important things first has really increased my productivity.
I learnt this from Brian Tracy's book "Eat that frog" (audiobook from audible).
Try this for a month and you will see big changes too

I've been using a whiteboard for years. I personally just like it because its easier to draw out visualizations of my goals, write out to do lists, and use a lot of different colored markers to get my imagination flowing. GREAT for goal setting, and keeping focused on the task at hand.
