The Keys To Fast Results In Your Online Business

Do you want to work for years on your business before you get any decent results?

Of course not!

Everybody including myself, wants fast results in any endeavor they take on. So the question is, "How do you get fast results in your online business?"

Motivation

First things first, you need to get motivated.

What is your "Why"?

What makes you want to work hard and work fast?

How can you get yourself to fully commit to working on your business daily?

You need to figure out what motivates you, and then you need to figure out how to stay motivated on a daily basis.

Once you know what your why is, you will be able to persevere through adversity. You also need to make a habit of listening and reading motivational content on a daily basis.

Massive Action

So, you got the motivation part down, but you can have all the motivation in the world, but if you don't do anything with it, you might as well have no motivation to begin with.
Motivation is the first part, the second part is to take massive action.

An example of massive action would be, instead of writing one 500-word article per day, you should be writing 5 or even 10 500-word articles per day.

You need to understand that massive action brings forth speedy results. Even if you were taking massive action on the wrong things, you would be able to figure out that you were doing the wrong things a lot quicker than if you were taken minimal actions.

Focus

You have to be able to focus on your goals and eliminate distractions that will hold you back from taking massive action. Everybody has distractions and obstacles that threaten their ability to focus, but it is up to you to get back on track and/or make an effort to put yourself in a position where you can focus.

Your ability to focus will determine the speed of your results, and the consistency of your results.

Consistency

How can you get fast results without being consistent?

I don't believe it's possible to get fast results if you don't have the discipline to stay consistently motivated to take massive action on a daily basis.

Success loves speed, and it also loves consistency. When you do something on a consistent basis, you have no choice but to get better at it. The better you're at something, the faster you will get results.

Now you know how to get speedy fast results in your online business.

The question is, are you going to commit to getting and staying motivated to take massive action on a daily basis?

    Awesome tips, tvon.

Spot on about obstacles, which seem to be everywhere these days ONLY if we allow them to be. I prefer to see them as opportunities to rise (sharpen my focus).

    Motivation

First things first, you need to get motivated.
I think Will Power trumps motivation, and I'll tell you why (this isn't my idea - I read it in an article, but it makes a lot of sense).

Motivation isn't always there. It comes and goes. There will be many times when you simply won't have, can't find or don't even want to find the motivation to get to work. Then, when you decide not to work right now, because you just don't feel like it... well, that'll zap your motivation even more.

And then you're waiting for PRESSURE to motivate you. Motivation borne from pressure is not cool.

This is why Will Power is key. Whether you feel like working today, or not... if you've got Will Power... you'll keep taking Action no matter what (and most times, it'll get that motivation flowing again).

What about the idea that we have a limited amount of willpower everyday? So if we need to do a tedious task and have not willpower left. Logically speaking we would not do it.

I think that self discipline is the key in terms of action. Don't rely on willpower, motivation etc.. These for me are only excuses. Just say that you will do something and just do it.

It all comes down to keeping your word

      Cheers,

      C.G.

I used to agree with what you're saying, but my experience has changed my whole view on this point. I don't care how much will power you have, if your motivation runs dry you will either give up or you will reduce your efforts. There has to be a reason "why" you're doing something or else, taking action won't make any sense anymore.

In my opinion, will power and self-discipline are fueled by some form of motivation, whether it is your knowledge of knowing wrong from right, your past experiences, or a goal you're looking to achieve, there has to be some form of motivation even if it is a small dose.

I'm not telling you or anyone to rely on motivation because it is not easy to stay motivated, but you need to find a little motivation to get you started on those days when you feel lazy (which can be inner motivation or outer motivation).

That's great info thanks. One thing I would like to add is this.

What used to hold me back was doing too much of one thing. For example, if I needed articles, I would be articled out after a morning writing articles effectively. I had decided to write articles all day and I would waste the rest of the day because I was sick of writing articles and still trying to write them. Basically, I would sit at the computer working ineffectively.

I work well in the morning, bad in the afternoon and well again in the evening.

Business has a lot of activities and figuring out what you do best at each time of the day can be helpful. Splitting the hours so that you can decide to write articles in the morning, mini tasks such as responding to emails in the afternoon. Then, doing bigger stuff in the evenings - perhaps write a few articles again even.

Knowing I am less effective in the afternoon, I also try and do the daily household tasks during that time as well.

That's just an example of planning a day. Everyone is different. But doing too much of one thing can get some people bored and consequently, working ineffectively..

    Inspiration post, thanks for sharing!

I beleive beside these points 2 important factor is in motivation:
    1. having a compelling vision and know why you want it
    2. feeling of progress

I wanna highlight the 2. If you feel that you are porgressing toward your goals you will feel motivated since you got some feedback (or we can say gratification) on your actions, which can maintain the momentum.

    Right on,
    Action and consistency.

These are the two most important factors.

    Nice work Trey!

I like how you put them pretty much in order. You must be motivated enough to take massive action and have incredible focus to remain consistent through the ups and downs. These are all connected.

I can definitely relate big time to the consistency part. You can do everything right and even go in the right path but if you do not remain consistent and committed you can kiss all your hard work and effort goodbye.

I remember hearing this from ET AKA Eric Thomas, Focus on winning the day then you will win the week, that will add to winning the month and this will help you win the year. Daily small wins will keep us in the game =-D
