My Philosophy of Life

Over the past few years, I have formulated my philosophy of life. I have found the entire exercise to be personally very beneficial, and I hope that you will benefit from reading it as well.

The 14-page document may be found as an attachment to this post.

The first half of the document presents and defends a number of philosophical positions, culminating with negative hedonism.

The second half of the document elaborates upon ways to achieve and maintain peace of mind. I have found many of these methods to be invaluable in practice.

Constructive criticism is welcome.

    Do you feel you will update it much in the future? My own philosophies are constantly evolving. I like how you've been able to really think through and document your viewpoints, I don't think I've seen anyone do this. Of course I (like many others) are going to have different philosophies than you, so not useful to get into the actual details of your document not to mention there's an overwhelming amount of potential discussion topics in here! Anyway, well done.

      Thanks for taking a look, smoore. Yes, my philosophy is a living document, and I will probably continue to revise it until I am permanently incapacitated. I have searched extensively and can find no other document like my own.
