OK so I need some help here:

I been doing wealth based affirmations.

However its hard to visualize myself making money.

Like this is what I have( I generate more than 10k a week)

Now honestly I don't even make 10k a month, but your taught to dream

big..

I'm thinking about changing it to ""I generate more 5k a month, Only cause I can quickly visualize/ manifest it quickly. Then I figured I steadily raise it higher and higher with each goal/affirmation achieved.

So does this sound rite to do or keep shooting for the other Goal.

i used to shoot too high. Theres a difference between long term and short term. Pic your ultimate goal, even 1 million per year, then work backwards from that point until where you are at now.

I only say this becuase you'll begin to visualize and believe your larger goal...

The problem with affirmations is that, if in your concious mind, you find it hard to believe what you are affirming, then it is almost counterproductive.
You are saying 'I generate more than 5k a month'
Your subconsious is saying 'yeah, right...'
I usually start with something that I can believe like 'I like having a lot of money' (it's true, I do like having a lot of money!) so my subconcious mind agrees.
Then I would progress to 'I love generating 1k per month or more'. Again, it's true so my subconcious isn't arguing.
I would just gradually move the goalposts so that it is easy for my subconcious mind to believe what I'm actually affirming.

  • Affirmations are definitely great but focused action is required. I do daily affirmations and stay on target w/ my daily tasks. Realism goes a long way. Thinking big is great and taking action is even greater.

At least, we all have to try. :-)

I also agree w/ the earlier posts, try to help as many people as possible. Maybe ask, How can I make a difference? How can I help people & have a quality life?

I was told, "sit quietly and answers will come."

Setting high goals is a good thing to do, but I also set attainable daily and weekly goals. The little ones just keep me going. As others have said action and thought together.

    But still dream big.

    Hey Chaz,

success is a habit, and you need to train it.
What you do, is to choose a smaller goal.

"$500 increase within 30 days" or something.
You don't even have to make it financial...

      Hi Chaz,

Turn your affirmation into a choice.

This is a trick I learned using EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques).

Both my conscious mind and subconscious mind accepts the choice
and it's easier for me to let go of the outcome.

      For example you could say...

"I choose to receive $10,000 per month selling products on eBay by January 01, 2010."

      Hope this helps a little...

You cold also try subliminal messaging on your computer.

I use this Success Studios Corporation - look at the GoalSync option (I'm not an affilliate - although perhaps I should be....lol)

Your best bet is to start shooting for a goal you can see yourself attaining. For most folks, dreaming big is inspirational and lead them to action. If you find yourself frozen in fear of your goal, take that as an indication that you should step back and set your sights on a sub-goal that's easier to accept.

A trick I teach people to do is to do a series of affirmations (pacing and leading affirmations), with the first few affirmations stating things you already believe 100%, and then moving to affirmations that require a bit of a stretch to accept, and ending with affirmations that describe your target goal.

The power of this is that it elicits within yourself a state of confidence and belief, and this feeling is transferred to your target affirmations, thus making it more effective.

I am lucky that I have achieved more than I really though possible, and my method is probably odd. But I completely ignored the money I was making, and turned in all into stats.

Your money basically comes down to traffic and conversions. Look at your stats and focus on one aspect. Fine tune your conversions until you think you are maxed. Then focus on getting more traffic. When you get more traffic many things may change, and your conversions may go down, you may need another site, more options for revenue, and etc. This brings along converting again. Then on, and on. In my opinion, being a numbers dork, if you focus on always increasing, or impoving the numbers, you will look at your bottom line one day and realize you are making more than the goal you set.

there is no such thing as big dream, it's just that you want higher than you are right now, you just need to split that into smaller daily goals then one day, when you look back, you already get what you want

I agree with the others: aim high, then break it down into small, bite-sized pieces. Otherwise, you'll just frustrate yourself. Good luck!
