Pay per text (SMS)

Is there such a thing a this? Like pay per call but instead of the affiliate being paid for calls made to a tracked phone number, they get paid for texts sent to a tracked phone number? There's a lot of text payment systems around (like charitable donations by SMS, vote-by-text systems etc), but never seen any affiliate systems. Any info welcome. Thanks!

I have never seen these types of services. This is new but interesting question for me
